Nothing can stop me. [Apathy] [Open]
Posted by WhisperedLitany - 12-2-09 04:27 - 0 comments
This day hadn't felt any different from the rest for apathy, since nothing in her life was exciting anymore. Everything had been getting on the last nerve that she had, small noises that rang through her auds, strong smells that blew past her in the spring breeze that rolled across the land, and birds who quickly flew from tree to tree eagerly, chirping non stop. The smell of fresh, melted aqua, the smell of snow melting from pine trees, and the smell of new grass growing all had hit her air passages whenever she took a step in any direction. Thoughts had been racing through her head all day, and she knew she had to find something to do to keep her occupied. She had been lurking within the area of the meadows that had the most trees, the shadows of the trees making it much colder than out under the sunlight that melted anything frozen. Thick carbon exhaled from her air passages as she sighed heavily, her optics glancing around eagerly, as if she knew something different was going ...read more

 xx..goddess of the [underworld].

Sauntering across the field, entered a 'lovely' dappled golden maiden. She flinched and shuttered as the sun touched her skin, but she couldn't stop the sun from rising into the skies, nor could she control the clouds to cover, yet it did not stop her from wishing. She ground her teeth and she stared blankly to the ground, her hooves kicking up dust, making odd shapes as they rolled along. A sigh flew past her grey muzzle and she rolled her eyes.. what a dull, warmish sort of day. When will the skies become gray, and the wind start to grow cold? well it always seemed like it would take an awful long time.

She stopped in her tracks and shook the dust the began to cling to her coat and then looked around the desolate place. Anyone near by at all? Ah, what the heck... she let out a whinny, a lustful and also lonely one... possibly a stud would be drawn too it? She continued to walk around when she came along to a tree. The odd thing of this tree from the ot ...read more

Well this is a lovely place! thought the buckskin mare as she made her way into the homeless lands. She looked around her in awe as the wind blew the soft green grasses around and gently played with her mane and tail. Her glittering ochre eyes were flicking from side to side, trying to absorb this gorgeous scenery. It had been so long since the mare had seen any green; let alone the lushness of this valley.

Two years. Two years she had spent in that terrible hellhole of a herd. She had given birth to many foals, praying every single time they would be stillborn so ...read more

Don't Hate Me Because I'm Gorgeous...
Posted by ××Eris×× - 11-2-09 04:49 - 8 comments

I pranced into the Homeless lands, my neck arched and my eyes glinting seductively. My bodice swayed invitingly with each move i made, attracting stares from stallions; most of which were already speaking with mares. I made eye contact with none of them, making them wonder and want. Long, thick lashes framed my glittering violet eyes and brushed my white face in startling contrast.

In this terra, i was a shining white gem in a sea of medeocrity. I flicked my silken tail gently against my rump, the movement making it shimmer like a waterfall. ...read more

I regarded the world as such a sad sight

Stiletto's scarlet irises swept across the Grounds, eyeing all her potential victims with a maniacal sort of excitement. Sake was still her official claimer, but she had not seen him in ages...she fully expected he was dead by now. Even if he was still alive, and even if he did come back for her, she would turn him away, as she had always done, and he would obey her, as he foolishly always had. She grinned and perked her ears for only the briefest of moments--until she realized there was the possibility that she could be seen. She halted at the point of ...read more

She was alone and she looked around the new place she´d just entered,
The wind sent a sweet breeze through her long tassels she looked like Rapunsel, her beloved mother
had called her rapunsel in awe of her daughters long mane,

Cara walked to a single tree and stood there and thought to herself, if someone would claim her,
but she didn´t hope for it, even though she had the looks it could cause jealousy to the other mares
she would become one with, and Cara didn´t want that. She wanted to be loved not used as her father had done to his mares, was he still alive...well it must he wasn´t older than 12 winters or so,

Standing under a single tree looking around and breath the sweet air breeze,
Cara bowed her head a little to grab to bite the grass, she was hungry she just realized she hadn´t eaten for days now and that wasn´t good for she already was to thin.

Having running and hiding for 2 years because she didn´t wanna be foun ...read more

Sorry! I put 'light mare' in the top but she's really neutral. Haha.

Everywhere I looked, it seemed they saw me as a bit odd. I suppose I was. There weren't many with the same outlook on life as I had. Not many others were happy all the time like I was. It was strange to me, that it was seen as odd. If only the rest of the world could see how ...read more

The sun was setting behind the mountains in a way that made a gorgeous silhouette. The sky slipped into an orange stage that clouds spread themselves out across. I couldn't help but stop and gaze at the sight that was there before me. The dried out dirt beneath my hooves felt cracked and dehydrated. The grass didn't look appealing to me and the search of a safe place to rest tonight was so ...read more

Name - Althea
Age - 5
Gender - Mare
Breed - Shagya Arabian
Height - 15.1hh
Appearence - She is of steel grey in colour, her face shaded in darker grey or black, with white highlights down the center of the face. Her mane is long and flowing, mostly black but with strands of greys and whites filtering through. Her eyes are black, and outlined with the darkest and longest eyelashes a horse could have. The build is similar to the normal Arab, except it is larger in size and slightly more sturdy to that of the Arab and equally as tough and resilient with wonderful paces and free flowing action.
Personality- She is quiet and some may call her shy, but she is respectful and fun to be around once you get to know her. She is intelligent and young but does not yet know much about the world. She needs someone to look after her and show her what the world is like.
Brief History- She was born into a herd of lights and had a good background, with loving parents. ...read more

I quietly lingered into the vast homeless lands that held few other horses. The overwhelming sun heated my ebony pelt up to where I didn’t want to stay still. In a way it was uncomfortable but so what, I’ve dealt with worse things. Being in the homeless grounds made me feel like I wasn’t in my comfort zone. Because honestly, I didn’t like the idea of having a brute “claim” me. Yes, I want to ...read more
