Some of you may have noticed that below your name and avatar on the left hand side of the screen next to your posts, there is a word in large font: "Sylphes." These are basic Kormadian currency, with each Sylphe valuing in at about two times one Earth (American) dollar. Sylphes may be used to purchase anything from armor for your horses, to potions, and even to lands and mares. It can even be used as a form of bribery, if you wish it so.
Basic Rules for Currency Usage:
1. All transactions MUST be posted in the PENDING TRANSACTIONS board. For more details, please read the rules of posting in said board.
2. If you wish to sell items, you may paste in the MEMBER SALES board if you wish it to be a public sale, or if you desire a private sale, you may simply PM the person. Just make sure that when everything is decided you post in the PENDING TRANSACTIONS board to ensure the money is properly moved. For instance, if you wished to sell some sort of armor, you could post a topic in the MEMBER SALES forum with the item, the protection point value, and the price you wish to sell it for, or if you wish to sell a land or mares, you may post the name of the land or mare for sale with the price of either the land or the mare, etc.
3. Bribery is expected to occur within an actual thread, between the characters in question. When everything is sorted out, post in the PENDING TRANSACTIONS board with what needs to be transferred from and to whom.
4. It is recommended that you keep a list of your items and transactions either in your signature or the OUT OF CHARACTER sub-forum, THE SAFE, in order to prevent confusion, and to allow moderators and administrators to keep tabs on your supplies. However, if you choose to do so, keep it updated regularly!!!
5. As of right now, manipulations may NOT be sold for Sylphes. Let's face it guys--do we want this place turning into another Horseland? X.x
6. Please keep in mind that ALL transactions have to be done MANUALLY by Topographic herself, so don't be surprised if it takes me a couple days to switch the money over. Depending on how many I have to transfer that is. Also keep in mind that if I screw something up, I'll do my best to fix it. Please allow 24-48 hours for the transaction to occur. If it doesn't occur by that time, simply message me. You may use whatever services purchased or sold immediately after posting in the PENDING TRANSACTIONS board, even if the money has not yet been transferred.
