I find that this topic is always popular in a music forum, so I would be honored to start it here. The rules are simple, you must have a lead, bassist and drummer at minimum and you have to make the name of thier band as well as their first album title!

Example:

Band Name: Single Bullet Theory
First Album: From Idea to Theory
Lead: Jimi Hendrix
Bassist: Jack Bruce
Drummer: Keith Moon
Lead Singer: Freddie Mercury

(Yes, I know they woudlent be able to work together lol, it would just make my day though smile.gif )

V...I fixed the 'fantasy' spelling...no problem.

Did you know that Klaus replaced Jack Bruce when he left Manfred Mann? When you have a chance, check out some of the Manfred videos and you'll see him with his beautiful painted Fender bass...can't miss it!

Thanks for starting this topic. I'll have to think about this one!

(Because, a drummer named Ringo is a necessity)

Disclaimer: I took this question to the absolute extreme. (It became almost an obsession!) I created an album cover and a track list. Unfortunately, this amazing super-group is pure fantasy. But...enjoy!

Ok, my band name is Flashback.

Their first album is called Long Ago Tomorrow.

Album:

Tory, that is totally OUTSTANDING! I love your cover. (BTW, where'd you get that great picture of Klaus? wink.gif )

Sounds like a very cool theme for your album. Hey, I'm sure Keith Richards won't mind being mentioned... laugh.gif

Great job!

Ok...now for my fantasy band. Did you ever see Paul McCartney's video Coming Up? It's the one where the whole band is a bunch of different Pauls from different years playing all of the instruments...

Well, that's my fantasy band, only instead of a bunch of Pauls, my fantasy band would be Klaus playing every instrument. (He could probably do it too!) biggrin.gif (My apologies to Paul...first he's lost his title of 'cute Beatle', and now this...)

Ok, it's late...after 2 a.m., so I'll use that as an excuse for being silly!

I think an all-Klaus band would be AMAZING.

Paul's Coming Up!! That video is ADORABLE!! Love it!

Thanks for posting the Coming Up video, I had forgotten all about that and it's a riot to see it again.

I'm sorry to have to break the Beatles theme here, but my favorite bassist is Nick Lowe, so much as I love Paul -- AND I LOVE PAUL, as Suzanne well knows wink.gif -- I need to kick him out of the band. So here's mine:

Elvis Costello -- vocals, rhythms guitar
Nick Lowe -- vocals, bass
Steve Nieve -- keyboards
Bill Kirchen -- lead guitar
Rich Pagano -- drums
John & David Duffy -- fiddles/accordion/mandolin etc.

And if they needed a back-up singer I would be happy to comply.

Syd Barrett - Lead Guitar(/Vocals)
Mitch Mitchell - Drums
Greg Lake - Bass/RhythmGuitar(/Vocals)

and for guest appearance:
Nico - Vocals
