Shame to hear about the passing of Neil a few days back. Apparently it was lung cancer.
Thought his comments on The Beatles Anthology and the bonus disc to The Concert for Bangladesh DVD were interesting and informative. School friend of Macca and George, I believe. Later, Beatles bus driver, assistant etc Never lost his Scouse accent, in spite of heading up Apple and presumably living a fairly international sort of life. There's a substantial Wikipedia page on Neil for anybody who is interested to know more. Best, Matty -------------------- I took my potatoes

Yes, very sad news. It's amazing that he hung in with them throughout that long strange ride...must have been an incredibly decent bloke. We need more decent blokes in this world.
