Dungeon Keeper 3 - Unlikely at Best

Since Bullfrog disbanded and EA released that dreaded statement, Dungeon Keeper 3 has been all but a myth. Ever since I saw the DK3 trailer I thought it would be impossible for it not to be made; alas most talk about Dungeon Keeper 3 has all but stopped. Even the official website has disappeared, Peter Molyneux has gone onto bigger things and no info on the great series is even available on the EA website.

However, you never know. At the moment Dungeon Keeper 3 looks to be a dodo, but if Lionhead Studios (Peter Molyneux) bought the copyright off of EA Games then a DK3 under a different company could be made. Peter probably still admires the game that made him famous and I bet he'd love to have another stab at it.

Open Keeper Project; I missed it when it was occuring, apparently some DK fans had a go at making an unofficial Dungeon Keeper 3, but they either ceased or were ceased by EA. No real information about it. So don't get your hopes up over DK3 but then again, stranger things have happened!

Diablo III - 2006 release ?

The famous RPG series, Diablo, could make a triumphant return to the gaming world with the third of the series, Diablo III. Blizzard have been very quiet on the subject of a third edition, but several sources suggest a new saga will be announced at next months Blizz Con.

Talk rapidly begun on internet forums when an email was leaked in which a musician stated he had been working on music for Diablo III. The musician was a member of a Slovakian Orchestra that had created the music for Diablo II - Lord of Destruction Expansion Pack.

At the moment Diablo III is just a possibility, at the Blizz Con it could be announced, however a World of Warcraft Expansion or Starcraft II could be the main press release. Blizzard have stated that there will be a big announcement, but I think it would be strange to cause such big celebrations over an expansion pack, making a third Diablo game or a sequel to Starcraft the more likely. Lets wait and see.

they should give it to lionhead studio's as fast as posible

i realy wish peter Molyneux buy's the rights to dungeon keeper then we could all be happy

One day he could find this site, discover the massive fanbase, discover the DKIII idea forum, and realise he could make a game exactly how the fans want it with hardly any thinking on Lionhead's part.

To be honest i dont think they should make a 3rd one, Now then before you start spamming me with angry messages just read what i have to say LOL. I think number 1 is so good you know just SO much fun that our expectations of the 3rd will be way far to high and it wont turn out as god. Including the fact that DK sohuld stay a classic game not a new one.

Also i just think old bad graphics suit dungeon keeper alot more then good ones would

If you dont think they should make a third one just dont play the third one .

The only reason the graphics fit dk1 is cos theyre more gloomy, dark and overall evil.

Dk2 graphics are too cheerful.


the expectations shouldnt be too high because this is a comunity project.

Wow, November 20th 2005, those were some good times! Not that I was here back then, but I'm sure they were great!

It's pretty cool how this topic is dated before the first post in it was made, and before the poster had even joined. Good times indeed.

Less strong heroes
More Gold
More spells
More creatures
Bigger maps

Most time in Dungeon Keeper is lost time because of all mistakes in the game. If these mistakes are repaired, all things become predictible. Suddenly AI has disappeared. Today the most fanatic keeper can win, hunting level 3 imps in the training room. But once such gets bored...

I really and beginning to question his purpose. Wow, only 113 posts? I'd expect him having alot more because his name keeps appearing. Wow, maybe he is trying to make a name for himself. On a dead, as it fits so well for DK, site to make a name, wow.
