Yuichi Nakamura leaving D-BOYS
Due to his back injury, Yuichi Nakamura, commonly known to tokusatsu fans as Yuuto Sakurai a.k.a. Kamen Rider Zeronos of Kamen Rider Den-O, has decided to leave D-BOYS to concentrate further on his recovery.
Thank you for always supporting D-BOYS and D☆DATE. Today we have important news for you.
Together with all the staff we were watching over the recovery of Nakamura Yuichi who was our friend since D-BOYS was formed, but today he left D-BOYS and D☆DATE to concentrate on the medical treatment.
We who waited for Yuichi's recovery are full of regret. And of course all fan's feeling are the same.
But thinking about Yuichi himself as the most important thing, we accept this decision and think that we will support him in his life from now on. Yuichi is leaving D-BOYS and D☆DATE, but for us he is still a friend and that won't change.
For such an important person, Yuichi, we will do our best as a group and as individuals to aim our goals with all our strength and to convey dream and hope and make everyone happy.
Please continue to support Nakamura Yuichi, D-BOYS and D☆DATE. We'll continue to pray for everyone's happiness.
Yuichi Nakamura, along with Shunji Igarashi and Katsuki Nakamura, joined D-BOYS on July 27, 2004 during the D-BOYS Open Audition. Nakamura is currently one of the constantly expanding group's longest standing members, but due to his back injury, he went on hiatus before the launch of their new sub group, D☆DATE.
I have no idea where Yuichi Nakamura got the injury. But all I know is, he already got that even before the shooting of Saraba Kamen Rider Den-O. That explains why he got a little screen time in succeeding movies including Chou Den-O Episode Red.
Messages from fellow D☆DATE members can be found here. Hopefully, he can go back in acting in a few years time.
