Hi,

I wrote this poem this morning after not receiving a winning email informing me of my win sad.gif

Waiting for those numbers to roll in
hoping beyond hope for the lottery win
21 and 25 have slipped in
will there be a third for a tenner in sync.

The balls whirl and I'm churning
could this be my time, I deserve it.
The ticket I hold seems worth it
So many dreams have sprung from my yearnings

The final ball has dropped and I am cursing
becuase it is a five and I am swearing
Will I never learn that it is hopeless
For the lottery is only a fruitless dream and pointless.

(until next week anyway lol)

Tell me if you like it or not.

cheers,
WeLiveInHope!

Excellent.... Now every time I don't win anything I will hear your poem in my head going around and around; which will probably be every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday pjr-laugh.png

You're right there, Sherry.

I tried hard not to get to excited, but i was a little bit when it was only £10. If i had a big win I'd hand it to my parents to enjoy so they can sort their house out, have a holiday or a car.

That's a lovely way to use it, Molls. I've had a few times when I've thought what I'd do with a big win. I don't think I'll have that problem, though. It would be nice unsure.gif

it would be nice.

im not sure i could cope with a big win, im not a materialistic person, so the money would be hard to deal with, so id sort out friends n family first, then make sure we were ok then give it away, ( i keep some for whenim old n grey & my round the world trip... taking in a few volcanoes, macchu picchu, stromboli - a beautiful live volcanic island & a few other mysterious beautiful places along the way)

I love volcanoes, theres nothing like a good eruption.

Ive been lucky enough to climb Mt Etna & see her erupt.

She is also the only volcano to give the smoke ring warnings (my avatar pic), that she will blow soon after.
