When first married we rented a house which didn't have a nice atmosphere. Twice when I was alone in the house I heard a loud booming voice which seemed as though it came from inside the rooms I was in. One time was in the bathroom (Why do ghosts like bathrooms!) I can't remember what was said but it would have been a short sentence. The only natural explanation I can explain it away with is that there was a large ironworks some three miles away and maybe it could have been someone on a tanoy, as that is the impression I had of the voice.

Another time when I was hoovering in the house I live in now and I opened the door to the bathroom (again! laugh.gif ) I heard a male voice clearly greeting with 'hello, how are you?' or words to that effect. And it sounded like someone in that room.

I'ts a real boon that the voices register on the waveform.I have been wondering of the nature of the message and i think he is refering that some ghosts want out due to the fact they unable to cross over, maybe.

Probably. Forever is a long time to be earthbound, if that's what the reason is.

All they need to do is call for help and they will receive. There is no eternal damnation i'm beginning to understand, but some ghosts are happy to be here.

Yes. If this is all true it makes me wonder why those seemingly stuck won't ask for help. Maybe they don't realise they can?

There is rarely a day goes by in our house that someone doesn’t hear a voice. The amount of times I shout ‘hello’ down the stairs because I hear talking and thought someone had come in is amazing! We can be sat in the living room for example and someone, usually a male, speaks. We often find it difficult to understand what is being said though.

I remember on one occasion when this phenomena was at it’s worse, our daughter wouldn’t go to bed because of the incessant chattering, almost as though there was a party taking place. By the time my wife and I reached the room it had all but finished but we did hear it.

On another occasion, our son came round to look up something up on my computer. I was in the other bedroom and I heard him say “I suppose so.” When I asked him what he had said he replied
“I said I suppose so, when you asked if we would be walking to town with you tomorrow.”

I hadn’t uttered a word!

And NO, it’s not the neighbours, been down that road!

You've just jogged a memory from one morning last week,Ron.

I let myself into mum and dads and on doing so heard my mum shout from upstairs,

my name, as if in question as to who had come through the door.

I shouted 'Yes' and opened the door into the lounge where my mum sat the other end of the room. She looked up, not having seen or heard me come in as she was reading. It wasn't her but it sounded like her.

I also recall on several occasions being at home alone and hearing doors open or just a voice from one of the family saying my name when nobody was there.

Weird or what ninja.gif

I’m not going to give you a running report every day but, as we are on the subject, here is the latest occurrence.

My daughter an I were in the office yesterday (from where I’m typing this) when we heard
“Good morning” almost as if the speaker was stood next to us. My daughter jumped yards (she hates it) but we both laughed (it doesn’t bother me).

I told my daughter to check the gardens through the windows while I checked the front through the front bedroom windows. The only person about was our neighbour two doors up building his chicken house!

The voice was that of a woman, I would say in her late twenties to early thirties and it was followed by a short chuckle. This is one of the more recognisable ones and they don’t happen very often which is why I decided to mention it.

If I were in the house alone I would reply with a good morning back but my daughter just thinks that is too weird so I didn’t bother. I have actually recorded some voices on my camera but, to be honest, they sound like any other voice and prove nothing.

A member on another forum discovered that region 230 is a message in reverse that is why it sounds nonsensical forward. ''what's up with him''

Thinking about it this is something that's happened at long intervals over many years.

Maybe it's voices 'caught in time' like on a natural video, and playing back?
