Promethius

First half was ok (if trying a little too hard to be alien) but after that it spent too much time setting itself up for Promethius 2 and confusing the story. More time spent on character development (can anyone name any of the bridge crew?) and less on the zoo on the ship would have gone a long way toward making it a worthy prequel. As it stands it was card board cut out next to Michael Angelo's David.

Must admit the trailer told me it may not live up to expectations.

I went last week to see it with my son; not bad (I did enjoy it), but not brilliant either. it was in 3D.

My first thoughts were, "If Apple made a film...this" IF they'd spent as much time developing the other characters as they did David, we'd have had a good film and one we cared where it went. This film was envisioned as the film to reboot the alien franchise but tbh they spent too much time packing too much in to do justice to it being a reboot...still, it wasn't Aliens vs predator (shudders), or the predator reboot.
