Hello Miss Molly and Master Merlin...Clemmy here,mums just gone down to watch a TV program for an hour.....so have plenty of time for a chat....
Boy wasn't it hot out today...went in and out of the garden all day,but I prefer the shade,like you do Merlin...and I guess you would too Miss Molly.

I have a very large water bowl out there,as well as in the kitchen,and I also have a single duvet folded in half as my day bed in the conservatory,on the coolest side of the house.I can also go in the kitchen in my bolt hole as I call it where I have an other bed to kip on.
Treat me good here they do.....I see you have the settee Merlin...well half of it anyway... .... ah well I expect Miss Molly has loads of beds to choose from as your mum makes them for other dogs doesn't she Miss Molly....good old Pops,always helping where she can. ...flowers for you Pops,you deserve them....

Hey Merlin..... I dragged my mum about 25 yards,with her hanging on to my lead when she first had me,some birds, swifts dad said they were,startled me when out on the downs,and I chased them with mum being dragged with me...hurt her I did,didn't mean to,she should have let go ...but !!...she insisted on following me.... shouldn't laugh really...she insists dad takes me for walkies now....

Tomorrow we are going over to dads mum to do some gardening again for her
... so I shall find a nice shady spot in her garden, till mum and dad have finished there....I expect she will give me a few treats she usually does..very kind lady she is ,to be sure..... to be sure.....Ooooer... I am sounding Irish now,don't know where that came from,cause my Roots are in Turkey...although I was born here in England.. ...Ooooops can here mum coming,speak again soon.....take care both of you bye for now.....

Howdy Clemmy and Miss Molly

You are lucky, Clemmy, having all those beds! I have a bed the other side of the sofa. It's in a corner and between where my mum and dad often sit. That way I get my ears and head ruffled from both sides I'm not allowed on the furniture but they let me lie half on it and I use the sofa arm as a leaning post. Very good too, as I can look out of the window at my leisure and bark at who I want to without much effort.

Oh, so you have pulled your poor mum over too. I reckon us big dogs don't realise our own strength and then sudden'y it's too late. My mum didn't let go of me either. She just lay there in the grass with a dead arm and couldn't lift herself up. I wanted to help, really I did, but the smell of the grass wouldn't let me. I had a good sniff about pastures new whilst I could with mum hanging onto my retractable lead with her good hand. Then dad came and mum asked him to put me back in the car. I was a bit upset about that.I was so enjoying sniffing about. Then dad went back to pick mum up as she was still flat out in the grass. When she walked back her arm was all limp. I was disappointed she didn't let me back out. Her other looked alright. Oh well - strange these humans sometimes.

I'm happy today - I have my girlfriend stopping over a few days. She's a fiery border collie. Very pretty though, so she keeps me on my toes

Dad has just gone shopping for mum,so as he is free tomorrow to take me on a long walk early in the morning when its not too hot....found it real hot today didn't you Merlin ?
The was great for humans,but not for us doggies with thick coats..... I just stay in the shade all day and watch them slog them selves to death in the hot least my mum does,then she wonders why she suffers so during the evenings.....ah well , they will never learn these humans .....

Wonder about Miss Molly??? It would be good to see her in here, I agree. Pssst - don't tell Skye - my girlfriend, should she arrive on the keyboard. She's staying over, but seems a bit grumpy today. I think she has hayfever Aww, I do love her though. She's my favourite dog friend. She snaps at me often when I want to play and she doesn't - also when she barks at the window and I try to stop her. I do a bit of Judo - push myself into her or nudge her away. She's very vocal - gives me a headache at times. I just want a quiet life, but love her all the same. Even so - when she goes home I am ready for a good snooze and rest as I have to watch her all the time she's here. That's because if she moves I want to move with her and see what she's up to. Hey - I'm just an old fashioned guy

Oh,I say Merlin,what a great compliment....thank you...I am a bit of alright aren't I,now I have gained weight,and have regular exercise,and lots of TLC....

About your girl friend Skye,us girls can get a bit funny at times Merlin...can't help it you know it's the hormones, they get upset sometimes,and out of sorts...we tend to shout (some do anyway ) and be bossy...but hey ,we are softies really...you just have to know how to treat us....with paws,that are soft,and gentle,and noses about 2ft away from our rear ends.... especially after having been done...so to speak....

Woof.... Mum has tried , Ian, thats Mums son has tried , have lots of photos of both me and rude Gnomes...but no success.
I am a white Jack Rusell with a tan head, before I came to live here, lived in a shed before with 3 other dogs. Mum says she thinks I was a working dog.. perhaps rats....thats why I have had the"op" before I came to live here, , Mum says that usually the area I came from, would have used me as a puppy machine
I had a good day yesterday , was out in the sun , while Mum also sat in the sun, but not for long , after a while we bothcame inside, too much sun not good ,,,well thats what She who must be obeyed says....
Will try again with photos... Mums quite intelligent really < she says> she often wonders how she has got this far just follows her nose, .. but she is getting on ..poor old soul..shame really.... . she still has a full set of choppers and all her own hair ..just her legs dont work properly at times, has new eyes and some of her vital bits missing...but apart from that she is alright ... .

Been out with my male buddies this morning in the woods.A 6 mile walk. It was great. I really enjoyed it and was ready for my dinner this evening. Skye went back to her home on Saturday so I had a good rest before the walk. Thanks Clemmy for shedding some light on the thoughts of female doggies

Have just come back from my morning walk/run with my dad.....thought I would come up here and try my hand again on this thing whilst mum is preparing lunch etc....sushhhhh,while I'm trying to get my paws poised on these little squares,(must have my nails clipped again soon,see my favourite nurse )

I heard mum say she's cooking me some fresh chicken today,she's going to cook a couple of legs in the microwave,something smells good down there,so I guess it's my chicken.....I will be looking forward to that..
