Les - July 27, 2012 05:55 AM (GMT)
Morning. Just in case you'd missed it, the Olympics starts today. :D
Anyone going out to ring their bells? I am. Even if I'm the only person in the UK to do it. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/destinat...he-capital.html

Well I didnt hear no bells being rung in Bideford, tight buggers.
Had to laugh at that Olympian what went to get a commemorative tattoo done and the artist spelt Olympics wrong, The athlete now has OYLMPICS etched on his/her leg Laughing man Laughing man
I have decided to only take part in a few sports at this years games, Im doing Bog Snorkling, Nurdle Wanging, Slug Wrangling and the mens daisy chain making.
I went shooting yesterday 1st time in about 8 weeks or so, GOD that was hard work so outta shape for that still managed a decent 98 / 100 on one detail though which was bloody good. One of our club members is one of the officials at the games shooting event, were very proud of him, he was also the former Team GB commonwealth games coach some years ago.
Right Im off down South Devon now to go give Wizawaz some of my loving. Then off to take part in the games Opening cerimony, make sure you keep an eye out for me :D

I didn't hear any bells this morning. But, to be honest, I thought it was at 11am for some daft reason! God only knows why I thought that!

Morning Les, Horni and all to come
I'm actually looking forward to the opening ceremony tonight and am beginning to think I'm more interested than I originally thought!
Good luck with your part Horni. Hope you can bring back some gold
We had a power cut last night at 11.15 ish. I hate it when you expect some light and suddebnly it's pitch black Shockhorror So glad that didn't happen when I was on my own during hubby's shifts!
It was off for around 10 -15 mins. Apparently a power cable came down in a field in Pentrich some 6 or 7 miles away.

I like the Olympics, what I hate is BBC have created an extra 24 channels especially for the Olympics yet STILL show them on BBC1!!
I'll be watching a bit of the opening ceremony, but will miss some as I have work tomorrow so will be in bed before it ends.
