Ganda - if you're looking in do you have any knowledge of the Anannaki from the Bible? I have only recently come upon this subject and had not heard of them before.

Your most numerous source of reference to the Anunnaki and the Bible would be Dr Zecharia Sitchin
A brief outline

Thanks for those, Duck. Nothing straight forward then  Hoping ganda might clarify what he knows of the Bible on the Anannaki.

Guessing here but I'd imagine they are as popular with Christians as Von Daniken's Chariots of the Gods were with serious archaeologists and anyone of Egyptian descent... :)

I'd not heard of them until this week but it's an interesting story. I've read two sides of the story, but only the tip of the iceburg of it I'm reckoning.

I was chatting one of my friends of old who is a priest, he is aware of the passages but in the biblical context but the references are obscure and not particularly numerous, he felt it was a case of people assigning too much weight to too little conjecture. I have a lot of time for the priests I know, they tend to be quite sceptical

 It's surprising actually how many people in that line - and mediums  who are sceptical.

I've read so many different stories on the Anannaki. Some saying they were thrown out of Heaven and are an evil race. Others saying they came to our planet and created humans. They didn't do this by mating with apes or the early type man. They stayed for some time teaching skills for food, building ect. And eventually left us to our own devices. They apparently visit every 36000 years to see how we're getting on and are our guardians.
Others say they are out to destroy us.
What a complicated world we live in

You might find this article of interest Sherry. While not directly related to the Anunnaki it does delve into the methods historians and Archaeologists like Stitchin used.
