Would be great to get some mediums on here to see how accurate they are.
I did have a reading once online but sadly it was the same old stuff that could apply to anyone and meant nothing special to me. :(

Kayls, I think you have a great need for other people to like you and you work hard to achieve that. You're sometimes too critical of yourself, though.
I think you're disciplined and self-controlled outside but you tend to be worrisome and insecure inside. At times you have serious doubts about whether you have made the right decision or done the right thing.
You pride yourself on being an independent thinker and do not accept others' statements without satisfactory proof.
Sadly there have been times when you have found it unwise to be too frank in revealing yourself to others because you have been let down. Because of this, you can appear to be introverted, wary, and reserved whereas in reality, you are kind hearted and outgoing. In fact, you're a very kind person and a good friend to someone when they are in trouble.
There you go, Kayls. This took me ages, but the bones are seldom wrong. :D

Ok, I'll do one as well...Mysterious and dramatic style
You are of very kind nature and although you don't expect anything in return, you sometimes feel you are being taken for granted.
The very people you help also hold you back, but you let them do so because you fear loneliness.
There is, however, one person in your life for whom you feel great desire and who seems to feel the same towards you, but you are not entirely sure. Someone outside your daily routine. Someone at college in fact, but you daren't getting involved with this person because it would mean letting the people who need you down- if you got involved with this person, you would not be able to share your time fairly.
You want to think about you for a change, but you just can't.
There is also one person who is encouraging you to do so, but even their support and positivity isn't giving you the confidence to act.
Something, however, is about to change for the better. A big event in your family life, and you are aware of it. You cannot wait for it to happen, but at the same time, you feel anxious about it because it means big change for YOU!
I see the letter J and the number 20....Perhaps to do with either the object of your desires or indeed the big event in your family life.....
Sorry but...... Chortle I'm finding it so easy to 'foresee' ........BS!

Tom. I think you sometimes have a tendency to be too critical of yourself, which is a shame because you have a great deal of unused capacity which you have not turned to your advantage. You hate to offend other people and usually make the first apology in a confrontational situation. However, you pride yourself on your independent thinking and rarely accept what others say without adequate proof.
You always appear to be disciplined and self-controlled outside, but I think you can sometimes feel insecure inside.
There are times you have serious doubts as to whether you have made the right decision or done the right thing.
You care very much for those close to you and are always prepared to make personal sacrifices for them.
:D

One reason that people fall for the Barnum effect is that the feedback given in the typical experiment is so generally worded that there's practically nothing to disagree with. The statements are phrased in terms of two diametrically opposed possibilities: "you can be both X and Y" (or sometimes, X "but" Y). Almost anyone can be anything under the right circumstances especially when the X's and Y's are vague enough as to capture any human quality. "You can be smart but at other times you can be dumb." That's true of every human on the planet; even Einstein would have agreed with this self-assessment."
