Title: Amazing song instrumental endings

Tomdog - September 19, 2011 03:08 PM (GMT)
These couple of songs are amazing enough but also have epic spine tingling instrumental end pieces that could almost stand as tracks in there own right. I love 'em!

Dire Straits - Tunnel of love
Love the whole song but especially the instrumental from 06:00 onward.

ELO - Mr Blue Sky
Again, I love the whole song, but there's a great instrumental from 03.45

Eric Clapton - Layla
From 03:10. Amazing.

I've been trying to think of more like this. Anyone think of any?

Oh Yes! Nice One TD.

Lynyrd Skynyrd - Freebird

6:55 - 13:56

Although the whole piece is a classic.

:)

Oh Yeah !!

I watched this live at the time - my jaw hit the floor when Rob Halford came on.

Crue & Priest with the young guns of today.

It puts my faith back in kids again!

Fleetwood Mac - The Chain - Everyone will know the second part.

Uriah Heep (featuring Rick Wakeman) - July Morning - Underrated band.

The Eagles - Hotel California - I prefer a live version which I cannot find on Youtube. Probably my favourite solo.

Molly Hatchet- Boogie No More - A kind of Freebirdesque type song.
