I am not in the least bit tech minded , so can anyone explain in simple words. what is the matter with my lap top... my usual "putter righter.". is on holiday.

Windows internet explorer not responding ....it doesnt happen all the time, just every now and again ... so before long it may be laptops in space as it gets booted out of the window ...

go to microsoft sites and find ie 'fix it'

You have recieved some good advice Poppywill, I would also check to see if you have the latest version of IE and you have the latest service pack for the operating system. EG service pack 3 on XP
Do's it only happen with IE?
