Well, I've actually phased Sketchbook out of the process. The reward for using it didn't outweigh the trouble.

As for more specific details...

I create a new file in Adobe Photoshop CS. This file is 2000 pixels by 2000. Using my tablet, I sketch out the strip, not always frame by frame. I usually sketch the first frame and then I move that into the template I have for the format of the comics. There I darken up the lines and then color it. So far, most of the comics have characters in similar stances/poses in the rest of the frames. I generally just copy it over and then change what needs to be changed. I feel a little cheap doing it but Jay and Brett isn't my job so I don't have all the time in the world to make it sexy.

Over the summer I plan on using a scanner. I'll sketch them in pencil, scan them, then ink and color them in PSCS. They should look a lot better.
