Major Revamp.., hmm..

Would consider a major revamp on the forum.
A MAJOR one..

details as follows

1 There are too many inactive threads
Solution: Close the treads
Close the Division Subsection
Close the Member Introduction Section

Really too many treads, and people wont read all.
People visit, but dont usually post ( like me)
dont tend to see all the pages, by clustering them, more people, will read the same thread.

somepeople might not even know where to post, too many threads liao..

2. Japanese Tsubasa latest news: JAS invites u to CHINGAY!!
Its like over long ago.
might create a log called 2006. or 2005 etc
move all the past topics there..

3. Announcements
can add it as a Sticky, or Important thread, so it stays at the top and catches people attention.

might consider...

nah. not much.
i moderated several forums in the past.
like the-reincarnation (known as archmage in the past)
and moderated some forums as well as admin for my clans for
Earth and Utopia.
and a small class forum of mine, not much.

at least i understand css codes and htmls.

i am currently admin of roboticsSG forums.
was mod and asst, admin for a few others, but i step down.

i look at the current layout of the forums here, i think it is better if there was a division subsection as not everyone is interested in the other division.

for the members intro, there are like 4 places to intro and it looks messy, maybe the admin can put them into 2 or a single section...

for logging, free boards dun usually have the logging function, so it is cannot be help. [my old cca forum was invisionfree, and you had to pay for the logging, so it should be the same here.].

the prb for the latest news is that there was no latest news posted in that section after that chingay tread, [ and as it is a free board u cannot edit the codes to hide past treads]

and lastly, i was told that the admin is MIA... so i think not much can be done till he/she returns...

erm... i am a 1st year, a nobody, i have no rights to do anything....

i think a clean up is good enough, to move all the threads to the correct location and rename some sections.

i have removed the 13 spam bots. so the total membership of this forums have dropped from 107 to 94...
