JROCK & GL Event. 60 peeps needed.

I know JROCK & Gothic Lolita isn't exactly Cosplay, but I don't know where else to post this so I just posted it under 'Cosplay'. ^^"

Anyway, my friend asked me to help him advertise this event:

Hi to all! I might be holding a big event next year for J-Rockers, J-Rockers Cosplayers and Gothic Lolitas to showcase their costumes and fashion statement. Event details are still under discussions but the minimum group of people needed for my proposal to be approved is 60. I am now gathering interested people for this event. No 60 people, No show, dats simple. Deadline for proposal submission is around October this year, so hurry! ^^

For students taking part in this event, CCA points MAY also be awarded. And during rehearsals, you might even be given leave from school.

Before all the other juicy details can be confirmed, I need 60 people to pledge their interest first. Please fill up the 60 (or more!) seats below, thanks! ^^ For a start my band's going for sure so 55 slots more to go! woooot

But then I no erm gothic lolita "costumes" and stuff... How? Still can go in? Can just go in as a photographer? =P And what we do there huh?

The participants have to have their own Jrock/Jpunk/GL costumes & what they do is parade according to my friend, so if you want to go as a photographer then that's not a participant.

As for the costumes, the event is held next year so there's still plenty of time to prepare for it. =) I'm making mine during the hols.

For those who want to go just to see see look look, further details (date, venue, etc) can only be disclosed when there's enough participants so as to confirm the event. So PLEASE join in!!

Jrock and Goth Lolita is still considered as cosplay though. Cosplay comes from the words "Costume Play". IN FACT, cosplay has been existing for a long time (such as Halloween), just that this era is about Jrock, Goth Lolita, Anime and Games characters.

I wan to participate but dunno whether can complete the next dress in time anot*NEED MONEY!!!*. T_T...Have to search for kimono fabric and the GLB is giving me a headache . Maybe i should do another dress 1st *sigh*

The forum kinda seems quiet again... But oh well I will try my luck here... I wonder if they still take in people for this event? When is the deadline? I kinda wanna join... If I can get a lolita dress somewhere... But I cant confirm yet until I get my dress... Can onli confirm at the end of the month...

devilish, you can join first and back out later. what they need now is to show their dunno-whos that there are enough supporters for the event so that it can be approved. there are alot of pple who joined but nv confirm can make it (*cough*me*cough*).

as for performing, APPARANTLY it's just a cheorographed simple dance that we have to learn. not difficult i heard. just walk walk turn turn lol. =p
