Hey everyone. Is there any older manga readers here????? I feel like I don't fit in with very many of these discussions. I'm past 40, but I love manga and anime. It is something that I have in common with my daughter who is only 12. I would never let her on a chat site though. And most sites say that you've got to be 13 to be on anyway.

I'll be 27 this year actually. I guess that makes me one of the older members here. And I'm actually the oldest of the staff here at Intercross.
Some people may think it's weird hanging on a site with a bunch of people younger than myself, but I truly enjoy everyone's company and I think they make me feel young! (Although fishie likes to call me obaa-chan all the time) So it's good to have someone else here who's been weighed down by life's responsibilites!!! I'm happy to meet you!!!  |

I'm turning 18 in August! Woot! Sometimes I do think being 17 in a college setting is weird because there are times I can't relate to what they're talking about, and my friends can't invite me to some places because I'm still 'underage.' Oh well.
I do think mangas & anime are for everyone, I mean... it really shouldn't matter how old a person is when it comes to those things because they are still a form of entertainment and everyone has different tastes. |

I'm really glad that so many love manga, because that means it will be around for along time.
Everyone is right that age doesn't matter when it comes to something you enjoy you should just enjoy and be happy. My age is 44 years old and I LOVE MANGA. I am even a married woman with a daughter, but my husband is really great about. Some times he teases me, but he says if I like it then there's no problem even if sometimes it's yaoi. But he teases me the most about the yaoi...LOL Hope everyone enjoys till there my age....LOL...hahaha.... |
