I don't know if someone already said this books/writter, but here it go!

--> Juliet Marillier - Many books of her have fairies... The books aren't all about fairies, but per exemple, on of her most famous books is inspirated in the tail of the seven saws... *this one is "Daughter of the Forest"*

--> "Sookie Stackhouse (Southern Vampire) Series" of Charlaine Harris (the serie True Blood is inspired on this books, but exist many differences...

Vampirates is a good book of vampire mix with pirates (Hence the title)
There are good actions, romance, mystery and twist! An any age book for anybody.

According to my friend, Lament-the Fairy Queen's Deception is a good read. If you're looking for vampire reads, try vampire diaries.

QUOTE (imagery12 @ Apr 9 2008, 06:51 AM)
i recommend the saga of Darren Shan by Darren Shan on the vampires.
it's really good, i read the series 3 times w/o getting bored!!!

I totally agree fantastic series, they just made a movie however they changed the books completely kurou04.gif For faerie books Maximum Ride kind of, they aren't really faeries, they're two percent birds and Artemis Fowl loadsa faaeries in that.

A pretty interesting vampire series I've picked up is The Dark Days Series by Jocelynn Drake. The storyline is pretty good.

You can also try Nancy Haddock's Oldest City Vampire series. I haven't read it yet but it is a vampire series.

Lemme see...

You could check out vampire series written by Claudia Gray, Darren Shan (not really much of a vampire romance but still), and if you're willing to check out with adult protagonists...

Mary Janice Davidson's Undead series is my ultimate recommendation. It's paranormal chick lit romance and it's laugh out funny and cute all the time.

Molly Harper's Good Girl series is also cool.

There's also another series...something like ChicagoLand Vampires...can't remember the exact series title but I do remember one book title - Friday Night Bites...it's quite good as well.

Lindsay Sands' Argenau series - it features a family of rich, good-looking vampires....kurou01.gif

I don't know if you'll see this, since this is a really old Topic (Heck...you might of already read the ones I'm about to tell you about ^^kurou02.gif but Laurell K. Hamilton does 2 series of books right now~ The Anita Blake series has the Vampires for ya (along with Were Animals AND Zombies, and then The Merry Gentry series has the Faeries and creatures that fall inline with the Faeries! :D

BOTH series are AMAZING >///< At least to me~
BUT Warning: They are VERY VERY VERY Erotic at times...Very. Lol

Vampire Academy is an interesting series. I would recommend you to read that, since you have it.

City of Bones was really good. Did you read the prequel series (The Infernal Devices)?

The Morganville Vampires series is pretty good, too.

There're more, but I can't remember them off the top of my head. :P

Have you tried Unearthly by Cynthia Hand? It's a 2011 debut and it's about angels and honestly, it kicks ass, it's that awesome.
