Sorry if there's already a topic like this I've checked the list and found nothing bout it so..

I'm just really interested what you guys think about reading one-shots or the you prefer the maga series.

~Personally I like reading one shots when in a rush and want things over and done with I just wanna read find out how it ends then done. but if it ends up a really good one shot like "Koiboku" I'm wishing for more pages. I read manga series yes but I read atleast 3 oneshots before sleeping coz they put me at ease with my manga craving~

I definitely love ONESHOTS!! hehe
Coz i usually forget about the story once i've read it.. so by the time the next chapter or volume is out.. i've already forgotten what the manga's all about.. n so i have to read from chapter one again.. ><''

i love oneshots. :D
i have like really bad memory so i don't think that i'll remember what happened in the chapters before but if it's a oneshot i won't have to wonder what happened before and there won't be any cliff hangers. :D<3

I do enjoy oneshots, sometimes it need to be "memorable" because I have read countless mangas. Oneshots tends to get lost in the shuffle (titles can get forgotten). Otherwise, I like both.

I love one shots, as long as they are really good. It's nice to have a quick ending sometimes, I get impatient waiting for chapters to come out.

I lovelovelove oneshots. I have a tendency to scope for oneshots more than I look for series. I don't like beating around the bush mangas, unless they're really intense and suck me in. (I got sick and tired of Inuyasha, haha. That... was way too lengthy for me. Naruto and Bleach too.) Oneshots tend to finish and wrap a cute plot up pretty nicely. Plus, I don't have to worry and angst about when the next chapter comes out. :P

oneshot are nice.....

it is also a challenge for the author/artist to finish it all within one chapter,
and to make it a good manga.
its a nice intro for new artist/author.

I really like reading one-shots because I'm really impatient &like to know what happens next all the time.. so reading long series makes me squirmy. On the other hand though, some times after reading one-shots I wish they would make it longer. kurou17.gif
