I can't help it. I HAD to create this thread. >.<

I love books. And that's why I created this.
---

Okay, this is a thread where you tell us all your favorite authors and genre and book titles. You could always recommend books to others and others can ask for books here and you tell them the books you think are good and may be good for them. Get it? =D
---

Well, my favorite genre is Sci Fi and Fantasy. Mostly all the books I read are those genres.

My favorite author is: Sara Douglass. I swear, she write books and trilogies that will enchant you and you can NEVER put the book down. >.<

For Sci-Fi and Fantasy readers: I suggest books by Sara Douglass. Believe me, her books totally ROCK! x333 Most of her books are series so you'll have to get books one to etc.

And I'm planning on reading Neuromancer by William Gibson . It's also Sci Fi. I've heard from others that it's good so I'm planning on reading it soon. =]
---

weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell i'm not exactally a book person xD;; like i won't read them unless i HAVE to, like for school er something...but there ARE a few that i like.

my fav. genre is MYSTERY!!! kurou21.gif the sherlock holmes books are really cool and all, but it get waaaaaaay too confusing for me xDD so my fav author so fat is Agatha Christie, and i really liked her book "And then there were none". i think it had another title...something that had to do with ten indians er something haha. but, really, it was REALLY exciting and i couldn't stop reading. her other books are really good too, like her Hercule Poirot books are really good.

but there was another book i had to read for school last year. "Johnny Tremain" was really good!! it had to go with historical events, i guess, but i really liked it hahaha.

I've heard of Agatha Christie. Many people say that they loved her mystery books. I plan of reading some soon because I have a lot of work to do and I have no time to go to barnes and nobles or the library. >.<

Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden is another book I recommend to any genre lovers. It talks about a young girl, Chiyo and her life from a very poor fishing man's daughter to a geisha, a entertainer for men. It deals about the Japanese history about geishas. It's a really good book, and it's big. But I finished it in 4 days, from school hours, in the bus and on the way home. xDD;;

I think the book is WAY better than the movie so I suggest you guys read it. It's a very very veryyyy good book to read! <333

but anyways, my favorite genre is magical, comedy and romance

my favie author is Diana Wynne Jones!
Yes, yes, she wrote Howl's Moving Castle~ kurou02.gif
but there's also good books which I reccomend like Year of the Griffin, Dark Lord of Derkholm, and Conrad's Fate and all of her many other books~
her books are mainly about magic, which also involves comedy and romance, all that I love most! <3333

@kyonie: hahaha, I've watched Jonny Tremain about two months ago in school...hahaha, it's an old Disney's movie, but had to watch it for history class kurou21.gif

Has anyone heard of The Torture Garden? I think it's a book and it's a cool one too. Horror, talking about blood, flesh, stuff like that. xDD

I realllyyy want to read that book. xD

Count me out for Torture Garden, I'm gonna scream! Haha!

My fav genre would be romance but with dark? So, maybe Fantasy! Vampires and such!

My Fav. Authors Gotta Be Stephnie Meyer Author of New Moon, Twilight, and the upcoming Eclipse.

Books that I'd recommend would be, Uglies, Specials, Pretties, All written by Scott Westerfeld.

Demon in the Teahouse and The Ghost in Tokaido Inn by Dorothy Hoobler is another I recommend!

Twilight/New Moon/Eclipse - The books revolve around Edward a vampire and a human girl, Bella Swan, and their love, and life.

And the rest search it up! LoL, I'm too tired to type summaries...espeicially when I can't recall much.

Dear fantasy readers, the ONE book that i'll recommend is Jonathan Strange and Mr Norelle by Susanna Clark.

i love that book to bits. itz a very very amazing book and gosh, i luv the ending. kurou02.gif kurou02.gif

It's about, obviously, Jonathan and Mr. Norelle who are magicians. Sorry, can't give a synopsis coz i read that book 2 yrs ago.

yeah, i know itz my fav but itz been a looooooong time since i read a fantasy book. The last one i read was The Amulet of Samarkand but i find that boring and didn't finish it.
