Recently, I got extremely interested in sports anime. I don't have much time to watch too much anime, and usually I start watching a sports anime after I start watching a bunch of series. So, to make it short, what sports anime should I watch?
I haven't finished much, but eh. These are the series I am currently watching/have finished:
Ookiku Furikabutte + Season 2
GIANT KILLING
Inazuma Eleven
Inazuma Eleven GO
Hajime no Ippo
Eyeshield 21
Prince of Tennis + Season 2
Air Gear (Dunno if this is a sports anime, but people consider it one)

Thanks!

Well if you consider driving/drifting a sport, then I'd recommend Initial D. It's a few seasons long with movies here and there. The art gets better along the way, but the story is very interesting and pulls you in. Never watched any like this before but loved it. So give it a try.

Well, if you like baseball I would recommend watching Major, Touch, One Outs, and Cross Game. Touch may be a little too old school, but it's a classic baseball anime. As for soccer, a new soccer anime just came out recently, it's called Area no Kishi. I read the manga and it's pretty good, but I'm not too sure about the anime yet, it just started.

well, there's this new manga being scanlated called Kurogane. i find it cool. it's about kendo and if you're interested in it, you can actually learn a lot form this since it's really focused on the games.

i'm not very fond of sports, so i only know a few.
there's also series about figure skating. mostly they have "ice" on their title. hahaha. kurou02.gif

Major is good. And i pretty much learned how the rules works.
Hikaru no Go is labeled as sport but actually more like games.

So i recommend you to watch Kuroko no Basketball if you like basketball sports. And maybe The Knight in the Area for soccer. Dandoh was also good too and i especially loves it.
