Who read the Hunger Games series? I personally loveee it! I'm so glad one of my friends introduced me to the series. Now I'm excited for the movie to come out next year in March! kurou09.gif
Buttt...I do have to say the cast isn't what I thought would be. Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss? I don't know...she doesn't have that hardcore, tomboy look. Well, we'll see. kurou23.gif

Now what I think about it, you're kind of right. Katniss just stand the same person she did, however, there are a few changes, but nothing major. But I think Peeta had the most in book 2 and 3, considering what the Capital did to him.

Hm... well, I think that the books are tight when they involve the games themselves but horrible when she tries to inject teenage angst into them. I was ambivalent towards the first book and I thought that the first half of the second book is unreadable but the second part is really good and I haven't read the third.

The series was okay...I liked the first book but didn't really get they hype over people thinking it was original...although that might be because I read The Battle Royale before it....I am excited for the movie though.

Love the books, midway thru the 2nd book and trying to slow down on reading it or l'll finish it in 2 days and have nothing to read. I don't know if I like the actors they chose for the movie, especially Peeta, but I am looking forward in seeing the movie.

Oh, I'm reading the series now! And it's really great!
Went to the cinema to watch the first part and it's sucks! Am I the only one who thinks that they just ruined the whole book by twisting the facts and rushing the end& I mean the main actors were really great together the chemistry was all there but the plot! I don't think I will go watch the second part(

When I'm reading a good book, I imagine the character to look a certain way and such. But of course my imagine of the Hunger Game character are different...I'm a bit satisfy with the movie casts! (:

I loved the trilogy. I have to say that I enjoyed Catching Fire the most, it was fabulous! I loved the new characters and the interactions.

The thing I like most about this series is the pacing.

I agree that things could have ended better, but I have a feeling that the last book wrapped up as it should have rather than a way to please the fans. I was sad throughout the last book because of Peeta, but things got better in a way.

As for the movie adaptation and its cast, I loved it. <3
