I just finished Snowflower and the Secret Fan by Lisa See. It was a pretty good book, not very long either. Now, I'm looking for something else to read, and after browsing this forum, I've taken an interest in Artemis Fowl? is that the title? I think I going to read that, so that's my current, open to more suggestions ^^ but nothing too hard like classics (Wuthering Heights, Moby Dick) please, I'm not a good reader...
mmartine - August 21, 2007 09:08 PM (GMT)
Monster Island: A Zombie Novel by David Wellington
It's a pretty good read. It's told in first person narrative, but from the point of view of different characters.

Heh heh...I finished that in, what, a day? >.> I loved every bit of it. Well, most of it, anyways. Mostly the last few chapters. My favorite, I think, is the Battle of Hogwarts. I LOVED that. Everyone roused up to fight...xDD :FOOD!:
twilightx94 - October 2, 2007 01:49 AM (GMT)
well right now i'm being forced to read anything yet but i am reading this book called Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer. It rocks! Some ppl might not think this but the Twilight series is way better than Harry Potter novels!
Sexethang82 - October 2, 2007 11:54 PM (GMT)
I think both books are good in their own way. There's really no way to actually compare the two books realistically. Both authors are amazing at telling a story and the stories are truly unique ideas. I love both series personally... but i think i will always be first and foremost a Harry Potter fan... it was just truly epic! -_-
sweetiexpixelzzz - October 11, 2007 02:17 AM (GMT)
I'm reading Vampire Diaries: The Awakening and the Struggle, ;) It's about vampires! YAYYY!! I liked Twilight so yeah... but I've been noticing a lot of vampire books lately.-.-" It's probably just because twilight was a hit.

I just recently finished umm...Avalon High and All-American Girl both by Meg Cabot and they were good since their female leads weren't sassy girly-girls (I don't like them, sorry to those I offended T.T ). Anyway, I'm currently reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, The Time Travelers, Peter Pan in Scarlet, and The Mistmantle Chronicles: Urchin and the Heartstone. Yup! Well, I just finished The Catcher in The Rye by J.D. Salinger. I got to say this book cracks me up. This book is quite unique and its like one of the best book that my english teachers assigned. I'm reading The Dairy Queen by Catherine Gilbert Murdock. It's a nice book to read before you go to bed. It's about a girl who works at a farm because his father can't work due to hip injures. Very interesting, indeed. LOL ;)
Shirayuki - January 12, 2008 04:24 PM (GMT)
I`m reading " The oceand of thousand lies" from Diana Gabaldon.

Currently I am reading, The Undomestic Goddess by Sophie Kinsella. It's a pretty funy book, but the main character really needs to let go of her job. Such a workaholic. @.@
