I have watched many anime, but my favorite are Kaichou wa Maid-sama!, Katekyo Hitman Reborn and Angel Beats. I'm sure everyone will like it too.

My favorite anime has to be pretty much anything from clamp. I'm in love with tsubasa chronicles and xxxHolic.
The anime I'm following now is Angel Beats and that's really good as well

Personally, my favorite animes at the moment (animes, not manga) would have to be Yumeiro Patissiere and Durarara. YumePati's so cute and the food just makes you want to drool and Durarara was just awesomeness from the first episode. Every good anime has an annoying cliff-hanger. These animes have them.

I have to say I think that ALL of the Hayao Miyazaki movies qualify in the top 20. Other than that amazing man I'd have to go with Pretear. Anyone know this show? Bishies Galore!

All the adaptation of my favorite mangas

It's definitely Code Geass (especially 2nd season) and Skip Beat! (i want 2nd season but it's probably impossible... also manga has already enough events for 3rd and maybe 4th seasons).

Well, I'm trying to remember the most memorable animes I've watched in my life...
I really really enjoyed Code Geass and this is coming from a girl who hardly watches an anime without shoujo.

Oh, Naruto. Same with Code Geass...who is to deny the plot structure. Seriously, the protagonist is just so admirable.

Romeo x Juliet - the best shoujo/romance anime I've ever watched. Not only does it revolve around love, but the conflict between the two houses - Capulet and Montague - is depicted very well. Strong plot, nice artwork, and overall, your entire whole package!

And right now, I'm watching Kimi Ni Todoke (well, at least waiting for the rest of the 2nd season to finish, grrr) and I must say, a must-watch shoujo. It's realistic and captures the drama of high school, despite the times when you think "OMG, THEY ARE BIG FAT IDIOTS. RAWWR" and the times when you want to slap the two main characters in the face, well.

These are the only ones I can think of at the moment. Sobs ;_; I think I have more but it's hard when you've been watching anime for your whole life...or half of your life.

My favorite animes are:

1. Zetsuai 1989 & Bronze by Ozaki Minami → An intense and obsessive love that transcends everything!
The art is unique and the OSTs are so beautiful!!!
There are only 2 OVAs... I wish that they had animated the entire manga.

2. One Piece by Oda Eiichiro → A masterpiece! A story full of fantastic things, adventures, action and comedy! Each episode is amazing! When you think that the story may not get better Oda-sensei surprises again.
And the anime is very faithful to the manga.
The OSTs are beautiful! The music theme of the Merry's death is very touching!

really hard to decide but if i had to it still be sailor moon, been in love with tuxedo mask for 10-11 years now

for me its clannad and after story and ouran high school and lovely complex and sailor moon and doremon and pokemon and cardcaptor and pretear and theres alot @.@
