Do you prefer the anime or the manga?

Hmm~ I haven't read the manga yet so it's obvious how I'm going to answer,
but usually I'd choose both. but I'm choosing not to read the manga right now because I don't want to read any spoilers. And also I want to savour the voices of the characters. ... am I weird? :FOOD!:

mannn how should i say it..i get so emotional with this series ecspecially with those recent episode that were out...i was like happy>sad>happy>REalLLY SAD....totally sucked....so if i c that it will ever go back to "happy" again...ill feel good enough to keep watching it.....im also scared of the mang........ T.T i once skipped a few chapters to find out where i could had left off from the anime and i read a chapter that i did NOT want to read..it was so depressing.........T T

AH! I HATE IT WHEN THAT HAPPENS> Aurgh, don't you just hate spoliers that you cause yourself? ><;; I did that so many times and each time I did that, it felt like a 3 cm wound was carved into my heart. XD I'm really really emotion with anime/manga. =)

haha. you can blame my ex for making me like this. XD got me addicted.

heheh is that so? well nowwww i think i might just tryyyyyyy to read the manga....just to take a look at wut happens...only this time i wont go soo far ahead that ill kill myself again T.T im hoping that ill find some happiness..cuz in general this is a really good series...its just that last few eps that made me alll argharghargh :grrr:

and doesn't the manga follow a different plot that the anime?

as for the manga....shouldnt it follow the same plot? i would think so..cuz so far that ive seen with other animes they follow the manga on the main parts with a few changes here and there...but i think thatt the manga probably has more story to it...its like a novel made into a movie (such as harry potter) they dont include everything on-screen...well thats wut i think -_-

so yeaaa i dont think the plot would be different...i think....

lol. I heard from a lot of people that full moon wo sagashite [anime] was different that the manga and the story was so off. ><;; Not that I would know. I only watched the anime. .. I thought it was pretty good. Okay it's getting way too off topic from NANA... anyways, my friend was reading NANA manga in class once and I read some of it and I realized that they changed the order of the events. @.@

ahhh icic.....that reminds me......are the anime episodes still being translated cuz if so...it takes some time.....T.T (but ill endure till then)
also, just to find out and "satisfy" my curiousity of whether the anime and manga are different, i think ill go and read it rite now....if i can find it -_-

i think i'm gonna stop watching this anime until the manga ends (that way i'll find out how it ends), cause every episode seems to bring me on the verge of a heart attack nowadays...i love it to bits, but kamisama i'm running out of handkies here!!!!!!!

i have my hopes up for nothing i guess, since the mangaka is the same as the one that did gokinjo monogatari and para kiss...anyhow i hope she'll do a slight change and give us a happy ending for once!!!

well wut can i say~ i started watching nana again since my anger from the other episodes have calmed down~ on episode 40 now~

another reason y i just started watching it again just today was becuz last time i DID find the manga...(i dont remember if i mention this before) but anyways when i was trying to find out where i was left off from the anime..i went a lil too far in the manga and i ended up reading sumthing that i DID NOT want to no......and that just put me down for a long time...

well im up again and besides, even though its a strong story, its still just a story~ must keep that in mind :HIYA!:

and also rukiagiugiu i can understand wut u mean by the "heart attacks" from every episode...i felt the same way too T.T and i would also love a happy ending~ (unlike parakiss....argh..and i really like that anime up till the end...)

hmmm. the manga and anime are both good. the mangas more funny, in a way, and the plot is a lot better. but in the anime, i get to here the bands playing and all, so i like watching the anime as well~ i like the fact that there aren't any fillers in the anime- :)

I am watching the anime and I love it!!! I have only buy the first manga, but I prefer in this case watch the anime and buy others mangas which haven't anime. Nana is the best!!!!!!!!

i read a bit of the manga and watched most episodes of the anime and for me i guess i liked the anime better, the reason being i really dont like reading and i try to do as little as i can, manga is an providing that it's interesting.... the manga nana wasn't really that interesting but the anime was, however the artwork in the manga was way better then the 'cartoons' in the anime...

i didnt really like the drama of Nana..it was kinda boring and thought a lot of it was bad acting T.T i havent seen the anime and i hope its good :)

I finished watching it a few days ago. I hate how it ended. Actually, I don't really hate it, it's more like, I hated the FACT that it ended. Do you think they'll make a second season? 'Cause if they do then I'm not going to read the manga..

they left so many things out from the managa, but i guess that's what keeps me watching and waiting for it. Ren is so cute and his voice... one word to describe it; 'HOT' ;)

In NANA... I will say both... Because the manga tell you more fact and you can understand more what is happening in the minds of the two main characters.... But the anime have the plus of the music... Their you can feel the band and their music more.

Love especially the Anna Tsuchiya songs and also the song sings by OLIVIA.... This two artist rock!!!! :music:

I have also see the first movie... Where Nana is play by Mika Nakashima... like her songs to.... And the person that plays Reira... But I don't really like the others.

I've got to admit Nana is just smokin' hot! =] But my favorite character is Hachi, probably because she's the main character~!! :hahaha:

Umm.. the manga?.. hehe :) well maybe because I haven't seen the anime yet.. I think the series rock.. Artwork is very different from the other manga that I've read before but is still quite good not to mention the series' plot as well.. It's a great read!! ;)

i didn't read the manga only few chapters, but i really like the anime , specially the music: openings and endings -_-

I like the anime because its more colour but i think reading the manga gives you more feeling. I really hope there would be more episodes of Nana. :music:

I LOVE NANA and anything NANA related! The manga has to be the best one b/c it is the original story and it goes into a lot of detail with each character. The anime is good too especially since its based almost EXACTLY like the manga! i just wish they would continue it with the manga! The movies were okay... the second one was somewhat disappointing but they were watchable!

I prefer manga better but i think the anime good to watch too..I watch dorama for nana too.... :YAY!:

the only thing i loved about nana was nobu! he is such a cutie and deserved soo much better...T^T but even though hachi i soo annoying i still wish they were together...

usually when the manga is good, the anime always ruins it. but for nana, i was suprised that it was really good! i love all the soundtracks!!!
