Well, for those who don't know this series, here's a brief description from AnimeNewsNetwork:

Born of an old, respected family in the land but subsisting on a low income, Shuurei accepts an invitation to become the new Emperor`s concubine while believing that he is homosexual. The real purpose of her marriage is, however, to educate the lazy Emperor. Her close friend, Seiran, also enters the court as royal guard. Things get complicated when the characters unexpectedly develop feelings for each other.

My 2 cents: if you took a look at the websites listed above, you can see that it's filled with many, many bishies, with an awesome seiyuu cast to boot, itatakimasu! :FOOD!:
It also has a good, solid, interesting storyline. And, there's enough romance to string you along, if the characters or plot doesn't hook you already ;)

I love Saiunkoku Monogatari and Ryuuki :D:D (that's why I voted for him ^^) ;)
He's so cute, especially in the first episodes and his seiyuu is Tomokazu Seki who is one of my favorites (he also does Kyo in Fruits Basket).

ooo i watched some of this pretty interesting though i didnt stick with it the whole way...but anyhow id say that itd keep me busy when im bored to death or just dont want to do homework -_-

i put this anime on hold, cause i want the second season to be out as well before i start watching it again and another reason is that i get to anxious to see her choose who she really loves. i hope ryuuki wins though. :P

^^ this is one of the anime that i have recentyl began to watch. The story is very interesting, and also i really like Shuurei. She's particularly one female character that is different and unique compared to all the other romance genre mangas/shoujo. Also every guy(except the old fellows) and bishiies ^^

I think this anime is a pretty okay one. I like the manga more though but I think the music did a pretty good job.

Love the anime. I voted for Seiran cause I want him to be together with Shuurei. Not sure if that's going to happen though. I heard that there's going to be a second season starting in April.

kyaaaaa!!! :FOOD!: i loved all the characters all the guys were super bishies! :hahaha: i really like the main character shuurei becuase she isnt really a typical herione in most stories who would ending up falling in love with a guy...shes really different becuse she has a goal to fulfill and completely throws aside the idea of love. :) i really like the anime that i watche the whole season in two days :YAY!: :hahaha:

Yea, all the guys are really cute. :YAY!: And although I really like Ryuuki (especially his voice actor Seki Tomokazu :hahaha: ) I voted for Shuurei's dad cuz..he's just so cool!! I like his character, especially how he seems like a dull guy who can't make tea but is really a legendary killer. XD

Definitely Ryuuki, he is cute and dependable and he is very clever but he don't really shows it. he pushy to on where shuurei's love lies ...

My favourite is Ryuuki coz his really hilarious and He is a great Emperor. His really cute in many ways but I hope his love for Shurrie will bloom!.. I really like this anime I have read the manga, but I am looking forward to it.. Season II hopes to come soon!!... This anime is so Kawaii.. Love the anime so much!!

This is my favorite anime of all time! It's so frustrating waiting for the next season to be subbed. I even resorted to watching the first episode in japanese before the subs came out, lol. Surprisingly, I understood just about everything. That was weird moment, yet strangely gratifying. You gotta love a drunk Seiran.

I love Ryuuki. He is so nice, childish and beautifull. His love for Shuurei is so big that he is prepared to do anything for her. He helps her become what she whishes for and he is prepared to be away from her just to make her happy with her dream. She would make an excellent empress and I really hope that in the end she will marry him and I won't have to see a nother FY. I allso like Seiran - logical hehe they are brothers :)

Ohhh This is a good anime I just finished watching the whole first season an hour ago, boy it was good though the ending kinda sucked but im glad they made a second season. ^^ What pisses me off is Shurrei never fights back as in resists, whever she gets kissed by someone...

I love Ryuuki! I cant wait for more RyuukixShuurei scenes! They look soo good together! I havent really seen much of season two, but I have to start catching up! ;)

i havent been able to watch the second season yet due to my lack of time but i'm really happy it got licensed in the U.S. just hopefully the voice actors dont murder the series but i like seiren the best!!!

Too many bishies! I LOVE THIS SERIES both season one and two but what i hate the most is that the main girl never fights back when man are forcing a kiss ro something on her..Boy thought i wish i was her surrounded by so many hot guys =] I thought some parts were so sad..I cried during most of them.
