Okay, so I HAVE to state this since so many other RPGs has just...well, stopped. And I want this one to actually LAST a bit longer and make sense. (LOL, even though I'm the one that confuses stuff...)
So, lets keep this a simple, clean, and fun RPG.

First off, I want to say, only two characters per person, and this doesn't include all-around playable characters.
Second, PLEASE try to reply if you can and try to start a conversation to have more than two people in it. xD
That's all....



The falling of leaves gently to the ground marked the end of another semester. Students are getting ready to start school again after their week-long break and to their surprise, there will be a transfer student.
The teacher slammed the door open, surprising many of his students. He, then hit his attendance binder onto the stand to silent the rest of the students that didn't bother to quiet down when they heard the loud slam of the door.
"Quiet down students!" He yelled just loud enough for it to be heard by the students.
"Today, we have a transfer student from France. Please come in Jean." The teacher set his eyes towards the door that was now being opened just slightly and slowly by the new kid.
".....blonde hair..." Alicia spoke quietly to herself, as the female population of the room started to get noisy.
"Please introduce yourself." The teacher spoke sternly to the green-eyed foreigner.
"Hi, my name is Jean-Claude and I'm please to be in such a lively class." He spoke monotonously that the students could hardly believe their ears. It sounded like a radio or news spokesperson talking about something they could really care less about.
"Please take a seat over there in the empty seat." The teacher told him as he pointed to the seat between Alicia and another student.
Walking slowly, Jean reached his seat and quietly slid in.
"Hi, I'm Alicia. If you need anything, feel free to ask Jean-Claude." Alicia spoke as the new student sat down.
"Thanks, call me Jean." He had replied to her as he took out a book from his bag, and the teacher started to lecture.


And the story begins....

"Jean? You don't look like a pair of Levi's to me dude..." the student to the right said. "Are you seriously French? I mean with a name like Jean-Claude...either your parents had a horrible sense of humor or your French."

"Don't mind Caleb," the girl in the seat in front of Caleb turned. "He's an idiot! I'm Danielle, but everyone calls me Dani. Welcome to Merianne Prep."

The teacher turned from the board giving the evil eye to the students. "Is there something wrong with my lecture Miss Mayer?"

"Not at all professor!" Dani turned back around. "I love learning about the Roman Empire."

Satisfied that his students were at least aware of the topic of the lesson, he returned to his lesson.

Dani glanced out of the corner of her eye to wink at Caleb, Alicia, and Jean. She wrote a note and passed it to Caleb.

You owe me big time!

Caleb nodded with a smile and whispered to Jean.

"Dani has the highest grade in the class, so if you need a study partner, she's your girl!"

"Haha, well, my names Jean-Claude, not much I can do about it now and I don't really care enough to change it." Jean said as he leaned to the side to get himself out of the teachers view.

"Thanks Dani, and highest grade, hmm...?" Jean stated smiling slyly. "Lets see about that, now that I'm here." He winked, challenging her to a friendly competition.

"You're crazy!" Alicia almost shouted loud enough for the teacher to hear. "......Caleb, listen to this guy. He's challenging Dani, the DANI! The one that has never lost her spot as one the top 5 highest scoring students!" Alicia continued.

Then she giggled, thinking it'd be fun to have some competition, especially since she didn't know if Jean was smart or not.

"What's so funny...?" Jean asked as he gave her a weird look.

"No, nothing. How about this, between the four us, we'll have a little competition and we all help each other out if we want to. But we will have a test next week and whoever the top two are, they get to control the bottom two." Alicia smiled while winking at Dani.

Jean sat there, pondering for a moment.

"So...how about it?" Alicia pushed for an answer.

"....I'm in." Jean spoke up. "I'm going to be one of the top two." He stated arrogantly, giving Alicia the 'you're going down' smirk.

"Pft...we'll see about that." She retorted as she looked at the other two, "How about it?" She repeated.

Jonathan sits at his desk taking notes while listening in at the disscussion going on behind him.
Dani definitely will be one of the two top scores of that group but who will be the other one....he thinks to himself. This just might have some interesting results.
He continues his note taking while thinking of all the possible hijinx that little wager could cause.

"OH! IT'S SOOOOOOOOO ON LIKE DONKEY KONG ALICIA!!!" Caleb stood up in his chair and pointed straight at her.

"WILL YOU PLEASE SHUT UP MR. MICHAELS!!!!" The teacher was not happy. "Detention after school today for interupting the class."

"AWWWW MAN!!!" Caleb sat down and sulked.

"That's what you get for shouting you idiot!" Dani whispered. "But I accept your challenge Alicia. And you Jean-Claude will be beaten by me...it's a fact! Besides, you also have to contend with Jonathan there," she pointed to the guy a few seats in front. "He's my current rival."

A small chuckle escapes Jonathan in hearing Caleb's boastful acceptance of the challange.
"Yes lets see just who'll get the best score this time..." whispers Jonathan, a sly look on his face. He quickly writes a note saying as such and slides it back to Dani.

Dani took the note that was passed to her and read the contents. It was a note of challange and it brought a smile to her face. It was really nice to actually have someone with some brains in this school to challenge her. Maybe Jean-Claude would also provide some challenge.

Dani quickly responded to the note and passed back a note saying: "Confident are we? I hope you know your history of the Roman Empire."

Dani turned to glance in Caleb's direction. She felt bad for him getting in trouble because he couldn't control his competitive impulses, so she gave a sigh and poked his forehead.

"Don't make that face," she said softly. "It'll get stuck that way. Do you want me to wait for you after school again to walk home together?"

Caleb rubbed his forehead and grinned at Dani. "If its not too much trouble. Hey, maybe we can go get something to eat at the food court at the mall and hang out. Maybe we can even show Jean-Claude around."

"Sounds like a plan," Dani said. "Alicia, Jean-Claude, are you guys free this afternoon to hang out?"

"Haha, Caleb, you're an idiot." Alicia laughed quietly. "Oh yeah, there's still Johnathan, huh?"
Jean raised his eyebrows.....This might be fun....controlling either Caleb or Alicia for a whole day.... Jean thought, already knowing that Dani will beat him even if he didn't want her to; however, he'd still try even if he thinks it might be useless.
"Oh, and call me Jean or JC....Jean-Claude is...well, a bit formal sounding." He gave an irk face.

"Yeah, I'll be free, but actually, I promised Ms. Wills that I'd help her carry some stuff after school. I don't think it'd take long though." Alicia replied.

"...well, maybe I can go with you to make it go faster, while Dani waits for Caleb?" Jean suggested.

"Oh! That sounds good, how about it?" Alicia turned to the other two. "At the front gates at about...." She took a look at her phone, "3:45?"

A quick question and then onto my entry... This school is one where the students live off campus isn't it? Just want to make sure.


Jonathan reads Dani's reply and responds with another note: "This isn't the first time I've been tested on the topic."

Jonathan contiues to listen to the converstation behind him and promptly comes to the conclusion that its very likely that people will be asking him for his notes for the class because its apparent that their attentions are elsewhere. He goes back to writing his notes.

(LOL, since it's a RPG...I'll just say that if you want your characters in a dorm, then they can be, and if you want them to have a house outside that's fine too. :D)

As Alicia waited for Dani and Caleb's answer, she suddenly realized that she knew nothing about the Roman Empire and that she didn't even write down notes.
Thinking quickly and scanning the room, she wrote a note to Jonathan, thinking he probably would have the notes.

Jonathan! You have to help me!! I'm in a bet with Dani, Celeb, and Jean! But I didn't write any notes on the Roman Empire, that's what we're betting about. To see who will have the two highest grade on the next test! So, can you PLEASE help me? I don't want to just copy your notes, so is it okay if we meet sometime tomorrow? Alicia scribbled quickly and passed the note to the girl in front to toss on Jonathan's desk.

"I get out of detention at 3:30, so we'll definitely meet at 3:45!" Caleb said.

"I'll be in the library waiting until then, so if you finish helping Ms. Wills a tad earlier, we can met there and study," Dani said. "Caleb, why aren't you taking notes?"

"Because you'll write them and I'll copy them later tonight. Your penmanship is so much nicer that Mr. Devore's," he looked over her shoulder and pointed at the neatly written notes, a perfect copy of everything written on the board and what the teacher mentioned as side comments. "It freaks me out that you can talk to me AND take notes at the same time...his handwriting is god-awful!"

"His handwriting isn't so bad honestly," Dani kept taking notes. "My parents are worse being doctors...now that's a train wreck."

Dani turned her attention to the note from Jonathan and glanced at Alicia passing a note to him. She grinned as she replied.

Good luck tutoring Alicia for the exam! I'm guessing you'll be putting your extensive knowledge to the test.

Jonathan raises an eyebrow when two notes end up on his desk. He quickly reads them before writing replies.

To Alicia he wirtes: I'm free most of tomorrow so sure. You pick the time and place.

To Dani he responds:I know. I hope enough sticks so she gets a good passing grade. There's quite a bit of meterial to cover and some of it can get confusing at times.

He folds the notes and sends them back to the proper recipients.

Dani read her note. Jonathan wasn't kidding. It was a test spanning several hundred years, so he definitely had his work cut out for him. She folded up the note and stuck it in her binder on her desk and continued writing notes.


Caleb twirled his pencil between his fingers and stared at the back of Dani's head. Class was definitely boring, but having a new guy was bound to make things more interesting he thought. A note was passed to Alicia and he couldn't help but wonder what it was about.

"Psst," he whispered over to Alicia. "What's with all the note passing?"

As Alicia read the note passed back to her, Jean turned to her and whispered, "If you need help, you know I'll help you, right? Just because we're in a bet doesn't mean I won't help." He grinned at her and she couldn't help but 'awwwww' in her mind.

"You're so nice!" Alicia squealed as she bent over to hug him. "And don't hesitate to ask me anything, okay? I'll show you around school during lunch, alright?" She whispered as she still held on to him.

"Haha, it's fine, but I'll take up that offer for showing me around school." Jean grinned from ear to ear as he heard her offer.

Then, as they heard Dani and Celeb talk, Jean turned back and said, "Alright, we'll meet you there after we're done helping that teacher."

Alicia wrote a note back to Jonathan saying Yay~ Thanks, uhm...how about 3:25, about 5 minutes after school ends, is that alright? She threw the paper on his desk as she turned to Jean and said, "Why are YOU taking notes?" Alicia wondered.

"Oh, I already learned about the Roman Empire at my last school, so I'm probably just gonna read some extra notes about it in a book or online to jog my memory." He told her.

"I see. You lucky person, I know nothing about the Roman Empire." She whined.

*DING DONG* DING DONG* *DING DONG*


"Ah~ I'll show you around now, but are you hungry? We can get some food on the way around." Alicia asked him.

"Nah, I'm still not use to the new meal times...and I'm watching my weight." He joked as they started to get up.

"HaHa, well, I'm not hungry, so lets just walk around." Alicia continued to say as they were both out of their chairs.

Jonathan hears the bell signaling lunch while reading Alicia's note. He packs up his notes and heads to Alicia.
"Sorry to interrupt. Alicia, I'll meet you at the time in your note. And if you'll excuse me, I'm off to lunch!" Jonathan says as his stomach starts to growl.

Dani began to put away her pens and notebook into her bag. Caleb stuck his unused notebook back into his bag and stood up to wait for Dani.

"Did you bring lunch or are you buying today?" he asked.

"Brought," Dani replied bent down to her bag. "And YES, I brought enough for you too you lazy bum!"

"SWEET!" Caleb patted her shoulder. "That's why you're awesome! So what is it?"

"Sandwiches and fruit and cupcakes for dessert," Dani finished packing and stood up to look him in the eye. "I wouldn't dare to forget the sugar."

How could I ever forget what you like, idiot! Dani thought to herself.

"You know me so well," Caleb said. "Hey you guys, are you gonna join us?"

As Alicia and Jean were about to leave, she heard Jonathan and replied, "Sure!"
As they continued to walk, they suddenly heard Caleb say something to them, "Uhm...well, I was planning to show him around..." Alicia said quietly, but then decided it would be a good thing for Jean to hang around with the others too.

"Sure, we'll join you two, but is it alright if we walk and eat? So we can show him around...? And then stop at the rooftop to eat?" She asked them then turned to Jean for his opinion in which he gave her the 'I don't mind' look.

"I'm off to my usual lunch spot if anyone wants to find me." Jonathan say exiting the classroom and headed down a hall, bagged lunch in hand. He gets to a stair case and climbs it up to the top, exiting through a door and down another hall. He gets to a door marked as access and goes through. Behind it is another short stairwell with a door at the end. He climbs the stairs and exits the door to the roof.

"Sure," Caleb said. "I think we can manage to eat a sandwich and walk at the same time."

"I'm cool with it," Dani agreed. "I guess we'll run into Jonathan later or something if he'll be where I think he'll be."

Turning to Jean, she asked "Is there anything you wish to see first?"

"Yes, yes there is!" He said smiling with a huge grin on his face.

"Where's the gym? I heard the school was widely-known for the HUGE gym it reconstructed over the summer." He said still smiling.

"I'm guessing you're one of THOSE guys?" Alicia questioned with a sigh.

"One of THOSE guys? Well, if you're referring to those that LOVE running around, then yup! I AM one of THOSE guys~" He replied stopping right in front oh her, so she couldn't walk forward anymore.

"Wh-what? What are you doing? Get out of the way, so that we can get to the gym." She told him as she tried to get past him.

"Nuh uh, not before you tell me what that sigh was about and the explanation of THOSE guys." Jean replied.

"I don't have to tell you anything~" She singsonged as she ducked under his arms and walked ahead.

Turning to Dani and Caleb, "Do you two know what she meant by THOSE guys?"

(And I'm guess that THOSE guys are referring to the Jocks? Or Arrogant, stuck-up athletic people? Not implying that all athletes are stuck-up~ xDD)

Dani sighed because it was a topic that left little to be desired.

"Last year," Dani said. "Alicia was dating a guy who at first seemed to be really nice but then ended up avoiding her because he was so busy with sports. He's like on every team sport he can be on for each season. How many was it Caleb?"

"Let's see...." Caleb mental and verbally counted. "Football in the fall, Basketball in the winter, Soccer and Track during the spring time. So what four?"

"I think he's doing Vollyball this year instead of Football, but yeah, he was active," Dani said. "He'd always tell her he was too busy with practice to have a real relationship and it ended badly. So Alicia has a sore spot for 'jocks'...Not saying you're a jock or anything..."

"Anyways," Caleb said to break the mood. "We should probably catch up to her, she looks like a rhino on a rampage."

He turned to Jean and gave him a serious look, unbefitting his personality. "Try not to go ape-shit over the gym and let's spend as little time possible there, okay?"

Jonathan goes and sits down by the edge of the roof, enjoying the brief solitude and quiet. He opens up his lunch bag and pulls out a sandwich that he promptly eats with gusto. That was one of my best ham sandwiches yet he thinks to himself. He takes a drink from his packed water bottle and takes a gander at what else is in his lunch bag.

"Ah....so that's why...." Jean mumbled to himself.

"Jocks....pft...." Alicia muttered as she opened the door to the gym.

"WOAH!" Jean exclaimed, "Well, at least I know now that it does live up to expectations!" He looked at the huge gymnasium in amazement.

"Do you play any sports, Dani, Caleb, Alicia?" Jean asked as he grabbed a basketball from a nearby bin.

"....yeah....Yeah, I did. I played in the A League for Basketball...." She told him uncertainly..."But that was two years ago..."

She looked at him, waiting for a response....

But looking away from her at the moment, he turned to the other two, "You two? Basketball, by any chance?....So we can have a nice friendly two on two game?" He smiled.

"Alicia and I against you two?" He grinned at them, suggesting them to play even if they sucked.

"You really shouldn't have challenged us ya know," Caleb said with a grin. "I'm vice-captain of the varsity Basketball team."

"I'm not so great at Basketball, but I don't see any harm in a friendly two-on-two game," Dani said. "Losers buy dinner later?"

"OOOOH! Things just got more interesting!" Caleb said. "I'm down! How about you two?"

Jonathan continues eating his lunch in relative peace and quiet. His mind wanders to the new guy and he starts wondering how his presense here at the school will influence things and what might to expect. One thing he does know is that Jean's good looks might cause a stir in the social scene as the girls try to get close to him. I hope he's prepared to handle some ticked of boyfriends.

"I'm down!" Jean yelled as he looked over at Alicia debating whether she should or not.

"...I guess....if there's free food involved..." She said quietly as she took the ball from Jean.

"Whoever scores first, takes out." She said as she took the basketball from Jean and backed-up to the free throw line.

*throws it up* *swish*

"Go Alicia!" Jean yells as she hands Caleb the ball.

"If you miss, we take out." She grins.

People also start to gather into the gym, seeing the vice-captain of the Varsity Team and the transfer student with two of the smart and pretty girls in school can attract a lot of people.

Jonathan looks down at the ground and notices alot of people headed to the gymnasium. Finished with his lunch, he leaves his pearch and heads to the gymnasium to see what is attracting all the attention. When he arrives he sees a crowd of students forming around what appears to be a basketball shoot off. Apon closer examination of the players he realizes that its Dani, Caleb, Jean, and Alicia. What are they up to now.he wonders.

Caleb took the ball and gave a grin to Jean. "Let's make this more interesting shall we?"

And he backed up to the 3-point arch and shot at the net. The ball went through with a swish. "Nothing but net!"

He gave the ball to Jean. "You're next, if you miss, we take out."

"Aw....snap...." Jean whined as he backed up another 2 feet and shot!
Off the backboard and straight down.
"Just kidding~" He grinned at Caleb. "But I lost....it hit backboard, so it's your takeout."

"....." Alicia looked at the two with a shocked expression, "You are BOTH crazy! I'm happy as long as I can actually get it IN the net...and you guys worry about backboards! Unbelievable...it's not DECORATION, it has a purpose." She said as she positioned herself for the other two to take out.

"Haha, well, Caleb got nothing but net, so..I lost." He smiled as he himself backed up onto the court!

"Kyahh! Go Caleb! Caleb! Woot!" Some people from the crowd yelled out and some smaller voices yelling "Who's that new guy? Transfer?" One asked.
"Yeah...from class 2-C." The other girl replied, "I think he's pretty cute...but I don't know, I still like Caleb!" She squealed.
The other girl thought a bit as she then yelled softly, "Go transfer student!"

"Great," Dani looked sullen. "I have to follow after YOU TWO? How depressing..."

It didn't help that there was now a crowd of onlookers, many of them who happened to be 'Caleb Lovers'. Dani grabbed the ball from Jean and gave both the boys a dirty look.

"I'm shooting from the free-throw, you show-offs," Dani glared. "Any problems with that?"

Caleb grinned at Dani and said "No problem."

Dani bounced the ball a couple times akwardly. Basketball wasn't her sport, actually any activity that involved throwing something was generally a bad idea. She nervously shot the ball and it hit the rim and fell off.

The ball hit the ground with a *thump* and then a smaller *thump* and rolled off the court.

"Guess you take out," Dani said in a monotone voice.

"What the hell was that?" Caleb was shocked. "That was pathetic! I thought you were good at basketball?"

"What...? I haven't touched a basketball in 5 years, like I would be any good now!"

"Haha....me or you?" Alicia asked Jean.

"Hm...you." Jean replied as he started running around the court to get free from Caleb's defense.

"Alright." She said as she dribbled the ball around and to see what Dani was doing.

As she ran into the court dribbling, she spotted Jonathan in the crowd and waved at him while also looking to see if Jean was free for a pass.

"Just shoot!" Jean told her, knowing that he probably couldn't get away from a Varsity Vice-Captain so easily.

"The new kid is called Jean." Jonathan replies to some inquiring students around him.
Jonathan notices Alicia's wave and notices it could possibly lead to steal while her attention is elsewhere.
"Stop paying attention to me and just shoot!"Jonathan yells, pointing to the basket.

Dani took advantage of Alicia's brief distraction and knocked the ball away mid-bounce.

"Pay more attention to the game unless you don't mind paying for dinner," Dani shouted as she chased after the newly freed ball.

Caleb covered Jean with ease matching his movements, but took off once he saw Dani go for the ball. He was definitely going to have to pull more weight on the team since Dani was so rusty.

"You better catch that ball Dani or you're buying me a new CD today!"

"Shut up!" Dani shouted as she ran after the ball. "You are NOT helping!!!"

"Ah!" Alicia shouted as the ball was swatted away from her.

"Sorry Jean!" She apologized then added, "If we lose I'll totally pay for all of it!"

"You better!" He shouted bacl jokingly as he ran towards the ball with the rest of the people on the court.

As Alicia was about to swat the ball away from Dani's approaching hands, out of nowhere....

Seeing Alicia move to get the ball before Dani, Jonathan starts analysing the game.
Man those girls can move. To bad they aren't into track. Dani appears to be rusty from not playing for a while. Caleb seems to know what he's doing but trying to make up for Dani's rustiness is going to make this game close.

Caleb jumped in front of Alicia giving Dani the chance to get her hands on the ball.

Dani shouted a quick thanks to Caleb and took off down the court with the ball to their basket. Just as she got close to the basket and bounced the ball to shoot the whistle blew.

*TWEET*

"Double dribbling!" Apparently one of the basketball team members took it upon himself to take up refferreing.

"WHAT?" Dani stopped. "What kind of call is that? I didn't double dribble!!!"

"What kinda call is that Jeff?" Caleb ran up to the guy on his basketball team. "Are you calling this game dirty?"

"Awww, but good try. Haha, I didn't even see if you doubled or not~" Alicia said as the ball was tossed to Jean to take out.

"Hey! A rule's a rule!" Jeff yelled back to Caleb. "Dirty game or not." (Sorry....am I allowed to play him? Or just make him say a line...xDD)

"Lets continue." Jean yelled aloud as he added, "First to 3! Haha, I have a feeling it's going to take awhile."

"Me too!" Alicia shouted, "It seems we're both pretty evenly matched."

As Jean took the ball in to the court he ran down the lane and was about to throw it when....

((Yeah, i just said a random person...he's not a made character, although maybe we should make him for continuity sake... :hahaha: ))


Caleb was officially in a pissed off mood now. "Yeah, we'll play to 3. Lunch will be over if we keep this going longer."

"I'm sorry Caleb," Dani was guarding Alicia but very depressed.

"Doesn't matter," Caleb shouted as he ran at Jean. "Just need to score 3!"

Caleb reached out for the ball just when Jean...

Double dribbling? What the...I didn't see any double dribbling. Does that guy have double vision or something? It is heating up though and first to three means just one shot could make this end. Jonathan's inner monolouge continues. But they can't forget about there only being two people on a team. That can make or break a play as Jean is about to show.

(LOL! I don't know who's going to win...XDDDD)

As the game started up again, Caleb ran towards the ball, but Jean got there seconds early and bounced it hard passed Caleb and over Dani's head towards Alicia who was behind her.

"Nice!" Alicia yelled as she ran up to the net and shot!

*swish*

"2 points!" Jeff yelled as Jean told Alicia "Good job," but than inquired her why she didn't go for a three-pointer.

"....uh....well, I didn't think I'd make it...." Alicia confessed, "But we have two points!" She said happily.]

"True," Jean said as he handed the ball to Caleb.

"C'mon, step your game up~" He teased.
