Has anyone read the Twelve Kingdoms books by Fuyumi Ono? I just read the second one, they're so good. I can't wait until the third one comes out and we can see more of the story that hasn't been told in the anime....I wish my Japanese was good enough to just read it myself;_;

i liked this book,but i like the anime more

The anime was really good, though the several episodes that repeated everything so far really annoyed me! Where can I buy the book? I am dying to buy them!

I watched the 12 kingdoms anime first and then couldn't figure out the story ;P so was really exited to read the novels. They are so good! I thoroughly enjoyed the first and second novel in the series. Yoko's tranformation from uncertain child into capable adult is beautifully written.

The third book just came out and details Shoryu and Rokuta's stories in the early part of Shoryu's reign. I read the reviews which said that it's really similar to the storyline in the anime. I'm really excited to read it!

i wanted to read de books but i'm in a remote far off country, so getting my hand on stuff like that is pretty much not gonna happen. sigh....... but i did watch de anime tho,. n i really liked it. de whole political intrigue thing was a very nice change from simpering high school girls in love. not that i dislike romance. hehe.

I have the complete tv collection in anime which I quite enjoyed! However, the books are actually quite hard to get. I've read the first 2 volumes also but can't get any of the rest....the story seems quite slower than the anime. I really didn't want the anime to end and when it did, there was was no ending!! So frustrating!!
