Synopsis
Based on the hit comic book by Tomoko Ninomiya, this is a fun-filled quirky romantic story of two very opposite people.
Megumi Noda, or �gNodame�h is a piano student at Momogaoka Collegeof Music. An extremely talented pianist who wants to be a kindergarten teacher, she prefers playing by ear rather than reading the music score. She is messy and disorganized, takes baths several days apart and loves to eat, sometimes stealing her friend�fs lunchbox when it is filled with delicacies.
Shinichi Chiaki, is Momogaoka�fs top student. Born into amusical family, he is talented in piano and violin and has secretambitions to become a conductor. An arrogant multi-lingual perfectionist who once lived abroad in the music capitals of the worldas a young boy, he feels mired in Japan because of a childhood phobia.
They meet by accident. Nodame quickly falls in love, but it takes much longer for Chiaki to even begin to appreciate Nodame�fsunusual qualities. Their relationship causes them both to develop andgrow. Because of Nodame, Chiaki got the opportunity to lead a studentorchestra and begins to have a broader appreciation of people's music alabilities. Because of Chiaki, Nodame faces her fears and enters a pianocompetition. Opportunities open up as both begin taking risks,stretching themselves far more than they ever thought possible.

This was very cute! I loved how they tried to add alittle anime touch to it.

So I was watching the Grammys on Sunday night and they played Rhapsody in Blue. I instantly thought of Nodame Cantabile. I was kind of just wondering if anyone else watched it and thought the same thing. The whole time I was like expecting a person in a mongoose costume to just pop out on stage. Haha!

i love this live-action! nodame is soooo hilarious! i like when she always yells gyaboooo when chiaki hits her which is really bad but hilarious i was soo happy when i found out about the special that came out did anyone watch it!! thank goodness it was long and theres 2 ep. hopefully they'll make a movie but thats probably not likely to happen but hoping doesnt hurt! overall one of the best j-drama's i ever watched :)

I finally watched the 2nd movie! Very emotionally captivating and trying as they showcase Nodame's talent but complement it with her psychological growth. A must watch for all Nodame fans, of course, in sequential order! -_-

This drama was about as close to heaven as you could get for me. I am so corny but dude, it's true. I love this drama. The music, the passion...sigh.

I stayed up all night watching this series :hahaha: lol and i fell asleep in class i think. Well it was worth it.

This was a great anime/drama. Loved how the drama added in all the funny special effects like when he got hit by a fan.

hahaha i watched this live-action drama too! it's sooo good! i find it a lot better than the anime and manga too! the comedy effects and the romance were awesome!

i absolutely loved their on screen chemistry.. sadly it's only onscreen but love tamaki and juri. eita is super cute too. this is one of my faves, just like the manga

it's still the best live-action drama and movie i have ever watched. my favorite series of all time!!

Adorable! :YAY!: The drama fits right in with the anime. The way the characters acts and moves is hilarious!

I LOVED this drama.....although nodame was a little bit on the weird side, i thought that her and chiaki's love was really nice

i thought it was funny and i loved when they choreographed the orchestra....like when they spun around the cello and stuff....i wish we could do that in a real orchestra; it looked really fun :)
