Hurricane Mills,Tn,Ranch Concert~Sept-09

Okay will try my best to do this

It was kinda cool Saturday nite but,the place was packed,Ernie opened the show,I do love it when he does "Troubador",then out came The Lynns,Patsy and Peggy,then the most awarded lady in the history of country music came out what a surprise,she didn't have on a gown ,she said she knows the fans love her gowns but that Tim wanted her to wear somethin else because he didnt want her to get to hot,so folks,she looked beautiful in a black top with gold on the front,black pants with beautiful boots that matched the top,she is gorgeous and we will have the pics to prove that She was in great voice,opened with "Hey Loretta" and she was off and runnin,her eyes were bothering her but she kept wipin away when they teared up and I think she may have been hot too but,on she went,caint keep a good girl girl down and she told some stories about "Dear Uncle Sam"and others,I'll post later,one was really funny about the ONE and ONLY time she DRANK Tayla Sang,Meagen sang,most the the grandkids and Cissy did a couple of songs one was "Before I'm Over You"..All in all it was a great show with an American Icon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..and by the way Good Morning America was there filming,they had filmed at the Museum and dont know where else,cant think of the ladies name that was doing it but she was at the concert,went back stage and I think were gonna do some more fimling or pictures,the camera men scanned the audience as well,dont know the specific air-dates but was "told" maybe it would air November 8th or 9th?????We'll have to keep checkin on that,dont wanna miss it..Those that were not there were very much MISSED,hopefully I can get Gail to do a better review and will,If I can snatch Larry's song-list ..more to come,I'm sure,a lot of good laughs!!!!Love to all my LL peeps

Thanks for the review Kenny.....damn Gail called me 2X while she was there and when Loretta got on stage, she just forgot all about her little neice and sister.......but that is ok, we will remember her.... Glad ya'll had a good time, hopefully I can come in May....Loretta did look beautiful but then again, it don't matter what she wears, she is always beautiful...

Hi Everyone,
We got back from the ranch about 7:00Pm last night, What a great concert.
Loretta never lets us down. I loved her outfit and she looked beautiful.
She kept asking Ernie where Tim got her boots
We took my 76 year old sister with us, this was her first visit to the ranch and to see Loretta. Kathy told us it was a night she would never forget, she was so excited.I have to to tell all of you that everyone at the ranch was so nice to my sister and made her feel extra special and I want to thank all of them for that.

I have tickets for the little Opery in Nashville,In but haven't found out if they are going to reschedule somewhere else.

Time to unpack so Thank you Stacy for the Pixs.

Well here is my review, I'm not good with them like Gail is so here it goes, sorry it took so long,first of all I had a great time, with my buddies,Gail, I and Crystal (Gail's Daughter), left out Friday, got to our room, and saw Kenny and Sharon,just hung out at the hotel. Sat we went down to Betty Sue's and visit with her and Lynn, it was good to see them again,took some pics with them, then we left and went by Cissie's Crystal met her, and visit too, it was good to see her too. Anyway then we went over to the ranch, for Crystal to get her ticket, and left went back to the room and talked and then we went over to the Log Cabin to eat, and then got ready for the show. we got there, and got our seats, had second row center, eventually Crystal and I moved to the front row, cause there some people didn't make it. Loretta came out singing HEY LORETTA,looking beautiful as always, wearing her Gold sequin blouse and black pants and brown boots, I was glad to see u in something different besides her gowns. She sang a bunch of songs, she sang my favorite Tingle Becomes A Chill. Her grandaughter Megan sang a song, and then Tayla came out. Loretta called Cissie to the stage to sing, she did Before I'm Over You,and John did one also, I think he did a George Jones song, He stopped loving her today. Also I forgot the Patsy and Peggy did and excellent job too. Of course she did her gospel medley, with the coalettes. Then we knew it was almost over when she does Coal Miners Daughter, afterwards she waved and blowing kissses toward everyone. It was a great night, about the best ranch concerts I've seen in a long time. I'm ready to see her again, when she comes to GA on Oct 17. (YAY)
