Loretta's first Decca single in 1961 was ''I Walked Away From The Wreck''b/w''The Girl That I Am Now''did not chart on Billboard,both songs were to be included on Loretta's first Decca Album ''Loretta Lynn Sings''.
Three singles were released from this album''Success''b/w''Hundred-Proof Heartache'',''World Of Forgotten People''b/w''Get Set For A Heartache'' in 1962 and in 1963 ''The Other Woman''b/w''Who'll Help Me Get Over You''.''World Of Forgotten People'' didn't chart.

''Success'' was Loretta's first Top Ten single for Decca which charted on Billboard at #6 and ''The Other Woman'' charted on billboard at #13 in 1963.

''Wispering Sea'',''Heartaches Meet Mr.Blues'',''I'm Gonna Pack My Troubles'',''New Rainbow'' and ''The Darkest Day'' were later released in 1968 on the ''Here's Loretta Lynn'' album.

This album was re-released in England on Stetson Records so it says I think sometime in the '90's,not sure the year!

**''Breakin It'',I think was a completely different sound for Loretta and one of my favorite songs..I did read that ''Theres All Kinds Of Smoke'' and ''Then You'll Be Free'' were recorded several years before this album was recorded and released.And I think this was about the time that Loretta's contract was up with MCA,though she did sign with MCA for another 5 years.As you can see the singles started chartin lower,George Strait,Reba McEntire,Lee Greenwood were on MCA at this time too so,Loretta's records were pretty much by now just thrown out there as MCA's attention were on the NEWER acts-Kenny**
