remember riddle's diary? well inside here it's something similar, the headmistress has set up a journal and writings section at hogwarts. where you can have a diary of sorts that you write in and a friend or family members responds back, kind of like muggles and instant messenger, but magical. make your own diary topic, set up a thread tracker in it and go wild posting with your friends and family members or simply write to yourself. more important have fun doing so!

The Owlery is a circular stone room, rather cold and drafty, because none of the windows have glass in them. The floor is entirely covered in straw, owl droppings, and the regurgitated skeletons of mice and voles. Hundreds upon hundreds of owls of every breed imaginable are nestled here on perches that rise right up to the top of the tower. TAGGED INDIVIDUAL OWL TOPICS CAN BE STARTED IN HERE.

DEFENSE AGAINST THE DARK ARTS CLASSROOM
The Dark Arts are many, varied, ever-changing and eternal. Fighting them is like fighting a many-headed monster, which, each time a neck is severed, sprouts a head even fiercer and cleverer than before. You are fighting that which is unfixed, mutating, indestructible. Your defenses must therefore be as flexible and inventive as the Arts you seek to undo. This class is a requirement for 1st-5th year students.

LIBRARY
The Hogwarts library contains tens of thousands of books on thousands of shelves. Included in its many sections is an Invisibility Section, a section with information about dragons, and a restricted book section at the back, set off with a rope. A signed note from a teacher is required to peruse that section of the library; it contains books of Dark Magic only used by older students studying advanced Defense Against the Dark Arts. One of the books in this section screams when opened.
