I would like to propose a few changes to Common Law.
When helping people camp for rare/ex items (ie: Carbuncle Mitts), occassionally really expensive loot will drop (ie: Light Spirits). It doesn't drop very frequently, and can seem unfair if we do 18 runs and only 3 people walk away with that 1 million+ gil item. Consequently for cases that relate to expensive (200+k) drops, I propose that we sell the drop and split the loot evenly among the rest of the group that helped them obtain that drop. ------------------------- ------------------------- Garrison and other content enablers will be an exception. Common Law for Garrisons will remain the same for 20-capped Garrisons because we run those quite frequently and because none of those drops are worth 200k+ gil. But, 30, 40, 50, 60+ cap Garrisons can drop some really pricy stuff (ie: the 2 million gil+ items). These are not run frequently enough to allow luck to "balance" everything at the end, and having autoloot can really generate alot of resentment. While an even distribution of the loot can seem fair, I would also like to compensate people for their time in obtaining the tokens. Consequently, I would like to propose for those higher level Garrisons, the pricy (200k+ gil) items are sold and the proceeds split evenly, but with the token provider recieving 5 shares of the loot instead of 1. For instance, let's say a 2 million gil item drops for an 18 person alliance. That item is sold and the loot is split 22 ways; 17 people will recieve 1 share of the loot (~91k), while the token provider will recieve 5 shares of the loot (~455k) -> 17+5 = 22. What are your thoughts? -------------------- Arolek, Elvaan Male from San d'Oria @ Ramuh

I was going to post this last night, but my ISP crashed on me shortly after I ported back to jeuno. I think such a change would be very beneficial. On regular garrisons there are usually enough drops that everyone remains happy. However a Light Spirit scroll, is a 1 in 20 drop at best from the Carbuncle Mitts, meaning that 18 people fight hard, 1 person MAYBE in that allinace could get the scroll assuming we did it that many times. Therefore this modification would even out the higher priced items and also give everyone involved a "payment" for their time. In this specific example Light Spirit scroll sells for about 1M gil (most of the time I havent checked recently) Id rather split it 18 ways (55k) each so everyone benefits. This way towards the end of the last people using offerings people are just as excited to hell as the first. Or In Aroleks proposed (which I like even more would yield 45k to each man every time a scroll dropped. (225k to the token provider)

the token provider only applies to Garrison and other items that can access large number of content for people (ie: Garrison tokens). It should not apply to offerings.

Understood so even on the Offering then?
Split with 5X to provider in garrisons? -------------------- Warrior 75; White Mage 75; Red Mage 70; Paladin 70; Beastmaster 68; Ranger 75; Ninja 75; Summoner 69; Monk 70; Black Mage 75; Thief 69; Dark Knight 70; Bard 75; Samurai 70; Dragoon 68; Cooking 60; Leather 60; Smithing 99.0; Cloth 22; Bone 5; Gold: 4; Wood 60; Alchemy 60; Fishing 8; ZM:Done!; COP:Done!; San10; Win10; Bas10;

Yes.
That is because Garrison token providers actually take the time out of their schedule to farm for the tokens and should be compensated for their time. People who supply the offerings are already being compensated for their time by receiving Carby Mitts. -------------------- Arolek, Elvaan Male from San d'Oria @ Ramuh
