Posting my random annoyance here since it's less public than Alla where I already posted, lol.
The words SE used to describe the event led many to believe a single number was being chosen and that people lucky enough to get the exact number won the grand prize, lucky enough to match last 4 got next rank etc. Then they choose the number"S" and it's not that way at all.  Had they gone with what I initially thought they were going to do, I had a lock for rank 3 on my sons character and I think a tier 1 or 2 or both on my Sandy mule. Arrrgh! I guess my only gripe is, that if I had known it was going to be 5 randomly drawn numbers...I might have leaned toward letting the mogs just pick 10 random numbers for me. Same here, and I would have claimed my measily rank 1 reward yesterday but the moogle wasn't there... what gives? Instead I got my bluuuuue bambooooo finally, as well as the green. Now to get that red one (and get rid of these stupid bonanza things)!

Well, just noticed on Alla my random mog numbers wouldn't have ended much differently. I guess PS2 random numbers followed an odd/even/odd/even/odd, or even/odd/even/odd/even pattern. Looks like I was doomed to fail regardless, lol.
