Eye of Judgement, Anyone see?

New game for PS3 this week called Eye of Judgement, looks pretty pimp.

One thing kinda tickin me off is the release date was 10/23. I called every store (ie. Gamestop/Best Buy/Walmart) around me yesterday to no avail. Everyone told me they were getting it tomorrow (today).

Now today I called everywhere and noone has it in yet, PLUS the manager at Gamestop said he got an email that they wouldn't have it til tomorrow (thurs). -.-

I hate release dates nowadays....GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

Aw good Aro posted them. Yeah we got ONE copy in for our store. ...and only ONE pre-order. I then read an email that these things will be very short in supply from now on. Looks like it's not that popular, go figure.

"I'm not sure if retailers really know what to do with Eye of Judgment, and my calls around town the last few days have proven this out. Most places have no idea what game I'm even referring to, and as recently as Tuesday I heard that the title had been cancelled again. Even if a store has it, and that's a long shot, there's no place around here that sells the cards. Sony's also shipping a forty dollar version of the camera without the game included, so I don't really know what kind of investment they have in the product internally. Coupled with the fact that copied cards play just as well, the CCG element of the equation might not be the engine of commerce they'd hoped.

As for copied cards, it's not as bad as it seems from a game balance perspective. That is to say, it's bad, but it's not catastrophic. You can only have three of any card in your deck, and the most powerful cards are limited to one either by deck or by race. It's going to tip the odds, but there is no "Win" card that one may scan and claim victory. "

Dear lord he's long winded. I'm one of the few store workers who really knows what it is, I'd rather just play cards with a friend IRL.

As I suspected, Ratchet & Clank is pretty kickass on PS3.

It sucks because NOBODY got the booster packs. So now I'm sitting on 38 cards exactly, my 30 card deck, and no extra cards to play friends with. Well...8, but you can't make an 8 card deck! =P

The card copying thing got tested by someone on another site and the guy who tried it had a pimp ass scanner/printer etc. and said the cam wouldn't recognize the cards he copied.

Gonna suck big time if they don't support the game, Best Buy/Walmart/Gamestop/Game Craze/F.Y.E. all don't have boosters or decks. Also, 4 of the 5 mentioned stores didn't even get the game in. Our Gamestop got 1 and the guy said he'd put it in back for me. ^^

Just stinks that the computer AI is godly and has won 5/5 matches that I've played now.

I ordered 10 boosters off the Gamestop site....hopefully I get some decent cards! ^^

So far it's hard for me to tell the rarity. I've seen black/silver/platinum/gold...and people on forums keep talking about "ultra rares". Maybe that's the platinum? >.> lol

The game is definitely fun, I'm really hopin they continue supporting it.

You can kinda tell it's made by the same peeps. Right down to green having an Elven Archer, lol.

The main thing I don't like is that you only get two mana per turn. Though it does accumulate, EVERYTHING takes mana. T.T Even attacking or turning your monster 90º on the grid takes mana.

I haven't tried online play yet. I think I'm gonna wait til I get those boosters. At least then I'll have more than 38 cards to choose from for a 30 card deck, lol.

Wootz! I got my boosters in the mail today. Lucky me, I got 2 "Phantom" cards. I guess they're pretty cool and uber rare.

They just have pics on them, no stats etc. I guess once you scan them w/the PS Eye they're kinda like the Legends summons from MTG.

Can't wait to see which two I have! ^^
