with the higher value items of the 30 caps plummeting (ie: military guns), it may be feasible to convert the 30 cap garrisons to the same rules as the 20 cap garrisons.

yes, military harps are still worth 600k or so, but there has still been some interest (most notably from the people who are forced to sell the items >.>) to convert the format.

I am still in favor in keeping the rules as they are, because of the possiblity for ill-will otherwise.

ie: say person A got a military harp from his token, and another military harp from autoloot (total value of 1.2 million gil), while person B got nothing from a set of 9 garrison runs (ie: ~ 4 hours). How do you think that'll go down?


but... maybe the community has changed, so that the apparent imbalance doesn't matter as much anymore.

i would have to agree to leave things the way they are...though i havent been able to participate in a garrison for awhile now....i just dont think its fair for someone to go through set amount of rounds and walk away with nothing...the token holder wouldnt be able to do the garrison alone thats why we all help...yes it is fun to meet with everyone but i think everyone should earn something.....

if it changes, it gives people the chance of getting an item they want~(Me getting a Military Harp ::cough: lol, but i like how it is ^^;

I've only done lvl 20 garrisons at this point, so can't really speak much ont he lvl 30 rules. However, the current set up seems to be fair enough, and a good way to keep the events fun and avoid ill will.

Some of the level 20 cap gear is now worth 300k (*cough*) Just something else to consider.

From consensus, we'll leave 20 and 30 caps the way they are, but may experiment on ther other format in the near future.

how does in 2 weeks (the LS Mixer scheduled on Sep 23), we'll do garrisons at valkrum dunes and bub penisula. I do not know what nation will control those regions then, but I do not care. =P

That Garrison will be a test for running Garrison 30s using Garrison 20 rules. After the event, people can send me comments on whether they liked it, or didn't like it. What can be changed, etc...


So... gather your tokens. And remember all. Fri Sept 23!!! Garrison 30s using Garrison 20s rules. Pass it on.

that should be a large enough sample.

what do people think about using 20 looting rules for future 30 cap battles?
