Warhawk, Oct 24 update

Lol...yay for me (total sarcasm =P) downloaded the patch and now no ranked servers show on the server list. The SCE ones that is. For any others (I know Rai played this game at some point...in the, 80's?) that have it/play it, here's the info from one of the developers from the Warhawk forums:

"As many of you have seen, the v1.1 patch was available for download in the US today. This was premature...as many of you speculated.

We (Incognito) have not approved the deployment of this patch yet because we are still in the final phase of our global test cycle. We are currently investigating why some of you have access to the v1.1 patch.

We will post an update as soon as we more info!"

They posted an update on the forums, to play on ranked servers you have to go to the game data utility and delete warhawk.

This is for the disc owners, it didn't happen to the peeps who dl'ed it.

Then just reinstall and it takes away the patch and the ranked servers are there again...as is rank etc. No rank loss or what not, think the stats r saved server side.

Yo Rai...I'm now ranked "Air Marshal". You best get your ass online and play some more.

I thought having Fios would rock for online gaming...well, running down a bridge on Warhawk to capture a base (after getting 100+ pt's the previous round) and blammo! A guy just appears right in front of me with a grenade to my face! Lol.

That happened for the entire round. Previous round tally - 27 kills/ 1 death

That laggy rounds tally - 1 kill/ 14 deaths

*edit* Forgot to add, that during a CTF match I was on missle turret duty (decimating as always). Then suddenly I'm looking at the map waiting to smoke some beotches, and the Warhawk I was tracking hops from one side of the map to the other and I heard "Blast dude! Get him!" for like 5 secs before he just appeared by our base, lol.

Is laggyness a normal issue w/Fios? I thought it was supposed to be the ultimate?

I'm seriously hoping when WoG comes out I don't have to worry about Yagudo just popping into existence right before my eyes!

K...so I play on ranked servers only since the day I got the game (it's the only way to rank up). Then for some reason between last thursday and sunday...it didn't update any of my stats! -.- I had played maybe 15-20-ish games and got a GOOD 1k pts or more. Well, needless to say it never updated. -.- Grrrrrrr.

So today I decided, screw it, I'll try once more to get some points (I was only 350 pt to next rank). Well, I get in some CTF games and stomp decently. They were small servers, 4vs4. In that type of environment I can own. So I rule a couple games, then this new dude joins. Well, right off as soon as the match starts I hop in a jeep and haul ass to the red teams base. Nabbed the flag and high tailed it back to my base.

During my absence the red team nabbed our flag so I had to hang around our base waiting for our flag so I could score. This complete douche (on my team) comes running up and I hear the knife swinging. I was like "Oh boy, here comes a moron who doesn't realize I'm on his team."

Part 2 (damn PS3 doesn't let me type as long as PC fr some reason -.-)

Well, I was totally wrong. This dude knew I was on his team. He chased me into a warehouse and knifed me in the corner....JUST so he could get the score for capturing the flag. Team killing is highly frowned upon in Warhawk btw. Well, I being one for revenge, respawned and went right after him, lobbed a grenade on his head and took the flag back. Then (thank god for headsets) I warned the team that we had a purposeful team killer on our team who did it just to steal the flag for pts. What's douchey do? He starts telling everyone I was the one who was teamkilling just to score. Kinda true, but not in whole. Then because a couple guys saw me grenade him, they said "Yea Blast was teamkilling just to nab the flag."

Luckily there's a tally for scores at end of game, so I let him keep doing it and told the team in chat "Watch Tec9's score at the end of the match, and watch mine." Since team killing shows up in stats under "negative pts."

Part 3

Douchebag had 0 flag captures and 25 negative points. I had 2 captures and 1 negative point, lol. The team realized and oddly the next round Mr. Douchebag was guarding our base, helping the team get the other flag back to our base when needed, and only got 1 team kill which I knew was an accident.

Moral of the story? I was annoyed and can't ]post on the Warhawk forums for some reason with the PS3! =P Oh, and moral #2...when you call people out on shit...they get PWNED!

Lost my second clan match tonight.

4 on 3 since one of our guys didn't show, then the whole other team are aces so they just sit in the Warhawk the entire match pummeling us on the ground taking full advantage of being a man up and us not being able to take to the skies. GRRRRRRRR!
