I'd like to say a few words about what Hap is doing in Second Life.
Just recently he completed a super hero costume (male and female) for Microsoft. With help from IB who wrote script for color changing all of the attachments.

Darth Vader is almost done also. It is a very detailed costume. It's already the best in second life. Again IB wrote script and added some very cool sounds.

These guys ooze talent.

I'd love to help in anyway that I can. Not to brag or anything but I'm pretty good with the basics in SL. Now if your talking advanced... I'm the wrong person biggrin.gif But I can point you to someone who can help.

A few months ago I was accepted as a Mentor in sl, so I have access to several things to help new people. And I just happen to know the best builder in the whole game cool.gif

Second Life building will give you a headache at first. The editing tools are very limited.

Yeah, you don't import things. You have to actually build them in game.

We have a scif-fi mall in undercity. And yes it is very high quality. Hap knows his stuff smile6iu.gif

I must add this...

Second Life is for adults, you must be 18 or older. They do have Second Life for Teens also.

The pictures were taken in Second Life. I'm adding a picture of the mall that Hap built. At the present time he has around 25 costumes for sale. They are some of the very best in SL, very highly detailed.

The model certainly isn't. And it's a groovy screenshot. And the characters; the guy at least, looks too thin. It isn't the first life, so the message ought to have gotten across by now--GET SOME MEAT ON THEM DAMN DIGITAL BONES!!!

Both of the avatars were made by Hap. The female is myself. The only thing he didn't make was my hair.
The male is Hap. If he looks a bit on the thin side it might have to do with the fact that was a standee of hiim. I think he was sleeping at the time I took the picture.
His goal is to create avatars, male and female, to look as real and life like as Second Life will allow.
The back drop was made by him too

Thanks for the input smile6iu.gif

Pasted? Defiantly not . huh.gif It was the angle the av was standing.

African female avatar, no pasting here either. Each skin is carefully hand drawn.

The first pic looks deformed as well.

The problem with both is that the arms and chest are different colors. They aren't blended at all, I guess it's SL's fault but still.

And the first guy, I don't think it's the angle because no angle I've ever seen shows someones stomach and chest going in opposite directions. Especially when the person is looking at straight ahead.

Well for starters, anyone with basic understanding of three dimensional objects should be able to tell that it's blatantly obvious that he isn't looking straight ahead. His shoulders are twisted in opposition with his hips... if you think about that, it would leave his lower section at a different angle from his top.

The texture on the chest and arms are the same color, the difference in appearance is due to the 3D engine's lighting.
