I am not Message Service, nor an Anakin InfoCenter, I think this should've been obvious.....

Ok guys.. there's something you need to understand.

First off, I am not an ANAKIN INFOCENTER. It is Hap's model. He more often than not makes decisions pertaining to that model without my input. He doesn't always tell me what is going on, I simply tend to share what I am privy to at an appropriate time.

In this.. I do that on the forum. I don't see what compels you people to ask me in PM's IM's, etc about the model.. because I pretty much say EVERYTHING in the forum, and only reiterate it when you people ask me in other venues.

There is a LOOONG list of names... and the names on this list are people who have constantly asked me questions over details I've said before.. things I've said on the board countless times... and generally any conversations with me didn't tell them anything they didn't already know. They asked for the sake of asking...

This week alone... I've been getting "bug reports" (not all of them were bugs, or even things relating to Anakin)... and also several questions relating to JO Anakin. These things would be better served in talking to Hap, or posting to the Anakin topic (Thanks to the people who actually DID that).... Those two options would've been a bit better than constantly IM'ing, PM'ing, etc... to ME... several times.

It is not "my" project (as some Hap fans have been eager to point out), and there IS a TOPIC for such things. I am the Administrator to this board, and the last thing I need is for my PM Inbox to be spammed about ANAKIN woes. I don't mind people contacting me via PM's.. it's not that.. I just don't need 27 different PM's that all ask "Why is Anakin not out for JO?".... You may think that number is an exaggeration.. but it's not so much of one.

I may have worked on the project, but I only deal with it where I am concerned, and where I can.


Secondly.. I AM NOT A MESSAGE CENTER.

Do I know so-and-so... do I talk to them... do I have their MSN....?

Yes.. I do. Why?... because I'm connected to a LOT of the people in the community, and odds are I have their contact information in one way or another. Also, since I hold a good standing to most everyone, I can easily contact most of them.

BUT!!!!

I am NOT here to give you their MSN addresses. If they wanted people to know, they would make that info available on the board. I don't care if you ask the others.. you shouldn't ask ME if I have that information. Being who I am, I have more information than most.... and it's my job to keep that information confidential.

Do not ask me for Contact info.. or Private info... on others. I will not give it.

Do I know people?.. yes. Can I suggest people for different tasks, or tell you some people that I know do different types of mod work?.. Yes.. I can. I have no problem sharing that information, simply because it is considered common knowledge, or that person might actually be interested in communicating with someone about that topic.

Will I talk to them FOR YOU?... Not exactly. I can mention it to them casually, and if you do not have their contact info.. I can ask them if they wanted to go over it with you. That is ALL I will do. Sometimes, I will not even do that.. if I know what you are asking is FAR TOO MUCH.

I'm not here to be Your Phone. You have a method of contact via PM's.. and this board does have a "privacy" email option. You can send them a message that way if you really must.

And last but not least... I AM NOT HAPSLASH'S INBOX.

If you want to ask him something, then DO IT YOURSELF. I don't care if he doesn't answer your PM's... I don't care if he never seems like he's online to you... I am not here to be a "go-between" because all else failed.

It's his choice to respond to you or not. It's his choice to deal with you. I'm tired of people asking me to "ask Hap for them". I am not a mediator to give you more credibility. There are PM's. There is e-mail. He has his own section on this board. There are plenty of ways to send a message so that he will see it.

Also, if I ask FOR you.. odds are it won't change the likelyhood of getting the answer you want to hear. He probably doesn't want to make that "UBAR model of ultimate somethings" you think he should.... simply because he either isn't interested, or the project is a bit ridiculus. If he is too busy, then ME asking him won't change that.

If he doesn't reply, odds are he hasn't gotten around to it. If you messaged him several times and haven't gotten a reply... he probably felt your attitude wasn't deserving of a reply, or he didn't want to write another "No I don't want to" PM for the ten-thousandth time...


I am available to you all as a courtesy. I NEVER block ANY of you from my MSN... I am always willing to respond when I have the time.. and I try to be as respectful and responsive as I can. Part of this is my personal attitude towards people and community, and part of this is also my feelings toward the duty of being an Administrator. I also do it because I consider many people to be worthy of a consideration... akin to friendship... some of you even are my friends.

I am here... and I do what I can to keep that channel to you all open....

Please.. don't clutter that up with these things. It is inconsiderate to me... especially from those of you who put part of it on me when things don't go how you would've wanted....

Well....I PM'd you twice recently....And it had nothing to do with Anakin nor any of your projects. I hope you haven't removed it thinking it was spam of some sort....

I swear...it's already bad enough as it is.

Try going to a charity/volunteer worker in real life and yelling out "Why aren't you doing this faster?" or "Why isn't this working?" or some other example...

THEN, try going to their best friend or brother, and saying "Why isn't he doing this and that?" or "Why doesn't this thing he made work?" etc...

Then you will see how completely rediculous I find all the Anakin whiners that have been hoarding around for about a year.

I was busy with other things, and have my own schedule and method for replying to PM's. I do not ignore any of them... I read them all. I also address them all in a considerate manner, even though they tend to be less considerate of me.

I've already addressed this privately... but since you posted this here, I'm putting a corresponding response.

I completely understand your irritation as I've been there before to a lesser extent and for a different reason, the constant hassle you get makes my brain hurt from just thinking about it.
