If you've looked at the anakin thread lately, you've probably seen that i have been working on a reskin for anakin..

and orginally I came up with this


which I thought looked really good as a texture, hard edged...total badass, but unfortunatly after IB posted a pic of it on the model...it looked like a monkey! awful

so i've been tweaking it here and there with the help of IB (pm'ing my pics of it on the model) and i've come up with this



which I think is a vast improvement.

Anyways I was just seeing if maybe you could give me your opinions on it, maybe some places i could improve it further. and if possible a picture of it on the model, just so I could see for myself.

If you could do that I would really appreciate it.

It reminds me of KOTOR 2. :P

it's certainly getting better :) . Two things i would consider improving on.

1. the main part of the face seems too light and contrasts with the rest of head i would consider changing the hue and sat on it ;)

2. I would try and add some more shadow using the mid tone burn tool in these places:
Under the mouth a little so it looks like the mouth is further out thanthe chin jsut a tad. Verys coners of just under the nose ;)

it looks pretty good, maybe change the hairline a little, cuz it looks too perfect right now...the line where it turns into the forehead seems a little low

Looking good, very good. I'd suggest defining some of the crucial areas a tad more. I took the liberty of making some changes to it myself, I hope you don't mind.

The shadows seem pretty dam godo now, the face is still too contrasting to the rest of the head for my liking, but if your happy with it well then nvm.

Yes that's true with the evil part. On that point I agree with you.

you can always change the hue and sat on the updated skin that way it would keep all the shadow work than using the first one.

Minor update...

I applied the changes made by Ruku with some of my own (kinda a 50-50 Blend)
On top of some shading I also changed up the "Perfect hairline"



And to make it alittle more personal, I added a little scar underneth his lip..this was actually a scar I recieved in a tragic sleding accident when I was a child ;)
as shown in the following picture
