Title: Questions for the FAQ!
Description: So you can finish your main page!

Zephron Scythe - June 2, 2005 03:25 AM (GMT)
Noticed one of the unusable buttons on your main page was the FAQ page, so I figured, "maybe it's because there are no questions being asked?"

So this is where everyone can bumbard you with thousands of pointless questions! Yay!! More work for you! XD

Anyways, while it may be odd that I already have my FAQ page ready for my site "what, who asked the questions", they're made up of old questions I used to get and some my friends would ask, so most of mine will be modified questions from what I've got going so far. But that's just me!
=========================
1) What are the origins of your name (in this case, this is refering to the name "Zaron X")?

2)How long does it take you to make a comic? (usually, when I get this question, it's asked in frustration, as if it sould only take a few moments to do... geez, some people!)

3)How do you write your comic?

4)Where do your characters come from?
=======
And now some I just thought up!

5)Which came first, the War of the races, or the band that spoke of peace among the races?

6)Where'd the idea of this comic come from? It's like Redwall isn't it!?

7)How many versions of the "Hamster Dance" do you have on your computer?

8)While you depict yourslef as a hamster, which of the main races would you prefer to be/wish you were more like?

9)Has the comic gone in the direction you find the best thus far?
===========
Remember, with FAQs, you don't have to answer every question, just the ones you think are the best.... like you could totally skip #7 and no one would be the wiser... unless they read it here...

EVERYONE BUMBARD ZARON WITH HP QUESTIONS!!! DO IT NOW!!

Mage Kitty - June 2, 2005 10:53 PM (GMT)
10) When you originally started drawing The Misadventures of Sam And J'Aime, did you plan for it to develop into a story this complex?

11) What are your inspirations for HP?

12) (To go with Zeph's 2) About how long for the pencil? The colour?

Okay, that's all I can think of for now.

Zaron - June 3, 2005 03:23 AM (GMT)
This may work.

And I get the hint. lol

Mage Kitty - June 3, 2005 10:52 PM (GMT)
*giggles*

Zaron - July 7, 2005 10:40 PM (GMT)
Pinned in case any new ones come up that I deem worthy of attention.

Angel - July 17, 2005 08:45 AM (GMT)
which came first the chiken or the egg??

Zaron - July 17, 2005 10:16 PM (GMT)
Yon chicken.

Angel - July 18, 2005 02:01 AM (GMT)
no the egg b/c if there was no egg where would the chicen come from??
can you answer me that??

Zaron - July 18, 2005 03:23 AM (GMT)
God made the chickens and then they got busy.

Angel - July 18, 2005 03:26 AM (GMT)
oh so thats like the yhing me amanda and you where talking about at camp ay??

Mage Kitty - July 20, 2005 02:53 AM (GMT)
Neither; the chicken evolved from some other species of a similar bird, but it wasn't necessarily a chicken ^^

Bwahahaha! SCIENCE SOLVES EVERYTHING! *runs off cackling madly*

Zaron - July 20, 2005 03:41 AM (GMT)
Well, if you want to go that way, you're WRONG.

The egg definitely would have come first, as even fish lay them, and they're far earlier on the evolutionary chain than birds.

Science also makes that riddle suck eggs.

Ha ha, pun hell.

LardMan - July 20, 2005 05:04 AM (GMT)
I must fiand and put out pun hell it is my new job in life

Zaron - July 20, 2005 05:30 AM (GMT)

LardMan - July 20, 2005 05:35 AM (GMT)
Now all I need a freezer and I'm off

Mage Kitty - July 20, 2005 03:57 PM (GMT)
*grins* I could go more technical and ask if we're talking about amphibious eggs or land ones, xP

Cyberweasel89 - December 7, 2005 09:14 PM (GMT)
The egg came first. Dinosaurs were laying eggs long before chickens were around. The very first chicken hatched from the egg of a beast that wasn't quite a chicken.

missa - December 9, 2005 12:01 AM (GMT)
Not true. I'd explain but I'm too tired.

Cyberweasel89 - December 18, 2005 04:12 AM (GMT)
Not true? But I learned it from a high-grade JumpStart game. :sniff:

Zaron - December 18, 2005 07:41 AM (GMT)
Evolution vs. Creationism, mah friend. You are not religious, Missa is (I think), and I am (I know this). Thus we may need to say otherwise. o-o

Yes. I'm "religious" but I can't say wether or not evolution or creationism is correct. They both could be. BUT ... I don't want to type that much. *sigh* Work sucks. It makes me tired.

Zaron - December 19, 2005 03:10 AM (GMT)
Amen. *facefaults into a pit*

Ceric - February 21, 2006 02:18 PM (GMT)
Ok just to stay on the current topic. Dinosaurs, Alligators, Crocodiles, and Birds beleive to share the same common ancestors and in fact that the latter three above are beleived to have come from dinosaurs. To make this more confusing Reptiles share a common ancestor with Dinosaurs but have no link to Dinosaurs themselves. Because of this link in an ancestor there is a movement to put Birds with reptiles. There now that's that done. Also fun factoid human babies have gills at one point in time.

Now on to the serious topic.

How do you know which episode is up for the voting?
Like its suppose to be 72 is voting now but is it the one up?

Why don'cha make a HamstaPowah book?

The drawing is top notch and the story is intreging(sp?).

Also is there any merchandise?

I hate to give just raw donations and no Digital stuff doesn't count for me unless it's like a game.

I haven't had any voting since about half way through the present chapter due to a general decrease in people participating. However, digging enough in the older threads in this section shows what's had polls made, and by all means if you wish to start one for the newer pages, go for it. My whole experiment was seeing how long of a time I could go before someone said anything.

You have said something. It's been several months. XD

Typically, the newest page would be the one where voting starts, yes. The polls used to have five options: A, B, C, D, and F, like us American folk's report cards. People would vote accordingly and hopefully discuss the page there. However, it usually just became voting with a few reasons as to why they voted so. .-.

I had planned to put one together of the first hundred pages or so, actually, with some bonus material and such to get people to actually buy it.

HamstaPowah was originally planned to be a book of sorts, while J&S was to be the webcomic, not to mention fairly short-lived.

However, they kind of became too important to each other and all became one story. Thus the web manga online today. ^_^

Zaron - February 4, 2009 03:09 AM (GMT)
As a general gist, Hiaté is supposed to be almost 12, and Sam comes up to her chest. Granted this keeps changing as I keep altering the darn proportions, but more or less that's the ratio I tend to keep with hamsters and mice for now - I want to keep Hiaté, even fully grown, about a head or two above Sam, but not much more or less. For wahtever reason Sam and J seem to be kinda small yet, so they may grow a bit more, too, if the giant brown she-devil who owned Sarai is any indicator. Then again, I drew her foot as big as Sam's whole body, so that's a really bad way of looking at it...

By the RP, the differences between mice and hamsters in terms of size is largely reduced to being borderline negligible - Kartney and I think even Ella are about the same size or shorter than Zone.

Squirrels in the comic are about the same as mice, with Hickory being closer to hamsters as a bit of an oddball. By the RP, they're a little taller than mice, as well.

Aslie should be effing huge, but claims to be small for his species or something. I forget. Same with Lafe. o3o Except I think she left out the "small" thing.

Truth be told, the comic and RP both tend to forget about the smaller stature of certain things on a regular basis (lest we think cats are now half the size of trees), and it's something I've been trying to work on over time, with mixed amounts of success....

Well that works out just fine, it would be a pain to have to remember all of that myself =P
