[Primrose Fulbright]

Prim was sitting at a long table in the back of the library that the Flying Class used on days when they had bookwork and needed a classroom. She was sitting next to Josh and some other boy while the teacher lectured them as well as the rest of the class on the proper signals used in international airspace on long-distance travels.

Prim was preoccupied scratching an inky fish onto Josh's wrist with her quill when the teacher called her to the front to pass back graded papers.

Prim obliged, sliding her chair back from the table and heading to the front. The other boy, Aaron Bartleby,craned his neck as she passed by, seemingly having a mental love affair with the sliver of skin between her skirt and her tall socks.

"Sweet piece of real estate." He whispered to Josh. "She's a close friend of yours? Do you know if she's seeing anyone?"

These were the days Josh lived for. The tip of the pen tickled his skin. Or maybe it was just the brushing of Prim's hand as she drew. Josh's eyes looked like he was paying attention but in reality he was studying the structure of Prim's face as she concentrated and the way her hair hung down elegantly at the sides.

Josh didn't know much about the boy next to them until he spoke. At that point, all he knew was that no one else was better at digging his own grave. They certainly weren't going to be friends.

"Yeah, she is. Me." Josh answered with an expression just daring the other boy to go on. "That's my girlfriend. And her name is Prim." He informed.
"That 'piece of real estate' is bought and sold." He boasted. "She might as well have my name tramp stamped on her back." Josh leaned back in his seat coolly. Wait, why did he just say that?

"Well then, why doesn't she?" Aaron demanded as he watched her tush as she gave out papers as if he might be able to catch a glimpse of said stamp through her robes.

He turned his sights on Josh, looking quite confused and then rather amused with the situation.

"Forgive me if I have a hard time believing your story. Like most people, I'm sure, I've only ever known you as that faggot football player's sugar baby. I just assumed you were still playing house." He shrugged, and gave Prim a devilish grin as she set one of his papers in front of him and stalked off.

"You can calm yourself. I'm not after your girl." He went on, not taking his eyes off of Prim. "She's a nice piece of real estate but she's too big for my taste. Besides, I've already got one. Little Susie Foster...can't tell you how long I've waited to rumple her sheets." He smirked.

Josh threw the back of his hand at Aaron's arm. The way that boy looked at Prim made Josh uncomfortable. And the way Aaron looked at Josh didn't sit with him very well either.

Was it instinct kicking in that made Josh tense his muscles, close his hands into fists and clench his teeth. He was so irritated he couldn't even think of a response.

"Like you'd even have a chance." Josh grumbled. He wasn't even about to take Aaron's opinion of Prim into consideration. You had to think of who was saying it, and who was saying it didn't seem like a savory person. "Wait, you're dating Sus?" Josh's jaw fell to the floor. "No way. I couldn't believe you even for a second." He shook his head. "Susan is way out of your league. She wouldn't even touch a guy like you."

Josh's hand made contact with Aaron's arm and the boy made a face as if someone were poking him with a stick covered in dog shit.

The inky little fish had rubbed off on him. Aaron moistened his thumb and rubbed the creature off of the delicate lining that was already there in the form of a very busty, and rather nude woman.

"I always have a chance." Aaron retorted and kicked his feet up on the desk.

"'Dating' is really too strong of a word. I'm sleeping with Sus." He stated calmly, causing a couple of other students to turn to him in shock.

"Now that Cody Hamren is out of the picture, you'd be surprised how wrong you are about how willing Susan is to touch me."

"Ew." Was the only word Josh managed to pass through his lips. His expression screamed the word as well. In fact all of his body language projected how much he felt that way.

"Susan is a close friend of mine. Break her heart, and I'll break you. Girls aren't just toys to play with." The memory of Josh once being a player after him and Claire hadn't worked out and before he had much to do with Carter passed through his mind but he wasn't that boy anymore.

"I'll be finished with her soon enough." Aaron yawned, quite ready for the class to let out.

"She only really held any interest for me while she was pure. Now that she's disgraced herself, I see no reason to stay. I always did like to donate my used toys to charity..." He smirked while he stretched.

"You're disgusting." Josh shook his head. He couldn't even look at Aaron, let alone believe a word he said. It took everything in Josh not to deck Aaron on the spot. His eyes fixed on Prim near the front of the room. That helped calm him down a bit.

"I can't understand how you can take advantage of an innocent young girl like that." To Josh, Susan was completely pure. She was, in fact, the definition. To think someone would disgrace that.

"It isn't without difficulty, I assure you. She takes some talking into, the nervous little thing. It takes time to draw her in and gain her trust. You'll know all about that though. Seems Cody blames you and the steamy kiss you shared together for her decision to leave him." He finished with the audacity to smirk at Josh.

"Not to worry though, after I'm done with her, he won't want her back."

Josh could feel his face grow warm. No, anything but that. Against his own will his cheeks burned a shade of pink only Susan could wear. Great. Although to think a single kiss of his broke Cody and Susan up. Was it okay to feel flattered?

A loud clanking noise echoed through the room as Josh swiftly stood up and knocked his chair backwards and down to the floor where it bounced a few times before it silenced along with the rest of the students. His hands slammed onto the desk in front of him at the same time. Steam might as well have been fuming from Josh, he was so infuriated. And yet, he had no idea why other than the fact someone was talking rudely about his friend.

"You leave Susan alone." Josh demanded in a rough whisper. Susan was certainly going to hear about this. "Got it?" No one ever listened to Josh, why would he bother?

"Don't worry, Josh." Aaron shook his head as he rubbed his hands together calmly and watched the other boy.

"When I've got her in my bed, I'm gentle." He uttered bodly, basking in Josh's fury.
