[Professor Luna Darani-Hamren]

"They're pink." Luna announced to the group at large as she waved a pair of inflatable water wings in the air.

"Thanks Mrs.Hamren." Susan smiled as she accepted the somewhat embarrassing gift and pushed them up on her arms. "I'll wear them proudly." She smiled and looked to Cody for approval. She wasn't sure if he was still sore at her for the incident with Ace. Regardless, they had been planning this trip for ages, they couldn't just not go.

Luna watched the kids pile into their vehicles. She turned to her husband. "Ten young adults in a beach house. Nothing will go wrong..." She added though it was up for debate as to who she was trying to ensure.

Cody wasted no time reaching for Susie's hand as they took their seats in the car. He wasn't about to let this weekend go to waste with his girl by his side.

"Tunes! We need tunes!" Alden exclaimed.

"Dude," Jason said, shaking his head. "Turn down the volume on your mouth."

"I think there's an iPod in my bag," Cody offered.

"Which is buried in the back," Jason said, switching on the radio.

"No! Radio BAD!" Alden said firmly, wiggling around as he clicked on his seat belt.

"I can reach it from here," Cody insisted, extending his hand out towards the trunk.

"I-I LOVE YOU LIKE A LOVE SONG, BABY! I-I LOVE YOU LIKE A LOVE SONG BABY!" Alden belted out.

"I will jump out of this car and kill him. I mean it. There's a a croquet stick in the back of my car, I'll beat him to death with it. I will beat you senseless if you don't stop," Jason said.

"This? This is a mallet, Jason," Alden said, frowning as he nudged the mallet with his toe.

"Can you be quiet?" Jason asked.

"Can you call this a mallet?" Alden retorted, arching his brow.

Cody smirked.

Sometime later, they had arrived.

"Blimey," Cody remarked, grinning as they stepped out onto the sandy ground.

"We are going to mother-f8#cking trash this place," Alden commented in a low voice, pushing out a quick, adrenaline-filled bit of air. He flashed Maddie and Susie a bright grin.

Susan and Maddie starting making lunch while Mark helped everyone unload their stuff. "Everyone else should be here soon. I invited Prim and some others. I hope that's okay with everyone." He said as he sent a fleeting look around to the group.

"Well I invited international quidditch legends." Maddie explained. "But you know...they'll probably be no shows."

"More ladies are here!" Susan exclaimed as she popped up to welcome the 6th and 7th year girls that had just pulled up.

"Anyone I know?" Maddie asked.

"Depends....do you know Fallon Parrish or Jolene Irving?" Susan laughed.

"I don't." Maddie shook her head.

[Alden Bloomquist]

"The more girls, the better," Jason remarked, grinning.

"The more firewood, the bigger the fire! Jason, oh dear Jason, your logic astounds me!" Alden exclaimed.

Jason looked annoyed.

"Hm, yes, shall I fetch your mallet?" Alden asked, tapping his chin thoughtfully.

Jason aimed a kick at Alden, while Cody sneaked up behind Susie and gave her a hug from behind. He smirked and kissed her gently on the cheek.

Alden, meanwhile, turned his attention to Maddie.

"Hi," he said, giving a plain, somewhat toned-down smile.

"I like your...hair," he remarked.

[Susan Foster]

"Thank you." Maddie nodded with an all too knowing smile at Alden. She would have insulted him and moved on, but this was supposed to be a vacation, and after all she had hooked up with stupider boys than him in her travels. He would do.

Susan giggled and snuggled between Cody's arms. "You seem to be feeling better."

Jolene wasted no time bringing her stuff in and introducing herself to everyone. She was already wearing cut offs and a bikini top and was trying to find a place to hang a volley ball net.

Fallon shook her head at her friend and after evading some awkward smooth talking from Mark, escaped to the kitchen for some bottled water. Mark was about to try round two when Prim pulled up and he felt compelled to help the girl with her stuff first.

"Thank you for having...cool hair," Alden muttered as he walked away, now interested in meeting the newcomers.

"Hi. I'm Alden Bloomquist. Please, excuse me," he said, holding up a finger as he fished around in Jason's car. He found a muggle football in his bag, then gave a horrible cry of anger and rage, and kicked the football as hard as he could, sending it flying across the beach, scattering a flock of sea birds.

"GIVE ME BACK MY FOOTBALL YOU FLYING RATS!" he hollered, his face turning red as he sprinted off into the distance. Maniacal laughter could be heard as he chased the birds around.

Jason looked utterly perplexed.

"Mark," he said, stepping outside.

"Did er...did Alden say his name is Bloomquist?"


Cody beamed as he held Susie. "Yeah. Need any help with lunch?"

"He did and if you're thinking that he's certifiably insane...you're right. But he's mostly harmless and he's new here. We can catch the guy a break just this once huh?" He asked.

Maddie decided now would be a good time to raid the fridge. "Water and orange juice...nice...Oh and milk! Did no one bring the alcohol."

Susan was interrupted from where she was cooing sweet talk with Cody. "Uh...No?"

"Anyone else?" Maddie asked.

As if on cue, Alden came running back, full speed ahead, carrying a large bundle of something in his hands. Several men were running after him.

"AGHHHH!" he cried out like a warrior.

"Inside, inside, everybody inside! Locking spells! Protection spells! I STOLE THEIR BEER!" he hollered, laughing and screaming as he got closer.

He tumbled inside the door, ensured everyone was inside, then took out his wand and started locking everything up.

"You really didn't have to do that," Jason remarked, indicating several bottles of fire whiskey in his bag.

"You're Dylan's brother," he added, frowning somewhat.

"Yeah, I am," Alden said firmly.

"Hm," Jason said simply, looking none too thrilled.

Alden cracked opened a beer, and plopped down on the couch.

"I don't want to talk about my brother, Jason," he said, his voice going up a bit.

"Is that going to be a problem for you?" he asked calmly, craning his neck to look at Jason.

Jason made a bit of a face. "No problem at all, Alden."

Cody looked away uncomfortably.

Alden sighed heavily, got up, and walked over to Jason.

"Here," he said, handing him a beer.

"I don't drink piss," Jason said sourly.

Alden blinked several times, giving a small fake smile.

"So! Erm...anyone up for a round of volleyball?" Cody asked, laughing awkwardly.

[Robert Harker]

"Alcohol. Beer. Fire Whiskey." Susan shook her head.

"Why is you people are only having fun if you're doing something you're not supposed to. There's nothing wrong with the milk." Susan added to Maddie.

Mark patted his sister on the head. "Calm down. Don't act like you weren't planning on bunking with Cody."

At that Sus turned a very bright red.

"We're all adults here...we can be mature about this."

At that another car pulled up and there was a polite and not-so-furious knock at the door.

"Oh my gosh! He came!" Maddie clapped her hands again.

"Who here doesn't know Robert Harker?" She giggled. Ash she opened the door the female population of the cabin took in a a collective breath.

"You were serious," Alden remarked, lifting his brows a little at Maddie.

"Heh! Thought you were joking...well son of a bitch, Robert Harker...and I'm not in my party dress," he said, giving a placid grin.

Cody sent a friendly smile, but seemingly was too shy to say anything, or perhaps...he simply was not that interested.

Jason gave a nod of greeting. "Hey."

"Oh well...I'm not here to cramp your style. Maddie had said this was something of a group trip. I can go if it's a bother." He offered, not yet taking his backpack from his shoulder.

"Don't be silly." Maddie smirked. "We'd love to have you!"

[Alden Bloomquist]

"Yeah, stick around," Alden said, craning his neck and giving an odd sort of grin to Robert.

"You can serve as healthy competition for the rest of us blokes. I'm sure even Sweetheart Susie here is ready to jump your bones," he added.

Cody looked immensely irritated at that remark, but Alden looked completely unabashed.

"Sorry about him. I mean...really, truly...sorry," Jason said, sticking out his hand for Robert to shake.

"I'm Jason. Come on in, set your stuff anywhere."

[Robert Harker]

"Jump his bones? What does that even mean? What does that mean?" Susan asked curiously.

"Doesn't matter and don't repeat it." Mark shook his head as he held the bridge of his nose seemingly in pain.

"And always respond to ti with a 'no'." Fallon added.

Robert seemed unscathed by Alden's comments.

"Thanks, man." He told Jason as he shook his hand. "He's no big deal."

[Jason Hamren]

"Can I get you a drink?" Jason asked, while Cody was starring daggers into the counter. He slid his arm around Susie, and gently caressed her with his fingertips, all the while looking like he might punch something.

"Jason thinks my beer tastes like piss, but you're welcome to it. I stole it, so I suppose it's not really mine," Alden put in.

Jason ignored Alden.

"So! Maddie...Robert, how do you two know each other?" he asked, clapping his hands together and taking a seat on one of the kitchen bar stools.

[Robert Harker]

Prim noticed Cody's behavior but said nothing.

Robert shook his head. "Swell of both of you, but I'm fine thanks."

He laughed at the mention of Maddie and slid in next to her on the sofa. "You're kidding right? This girl's a gypsy. We wind up in the same areas a lot and well, I'm not near as talented with local dialects as she is."

Mark shook his head. "It's a shame my team mate Nolan isn't here. He worships you."

Maddie nodded. "Mark and Prim both play for the gryffindor quidditch team like you did. Nolan Hamren does too but he's still a fourth year so his parents wouldn't let him come along on the trip."

"Hamren?" Robert asked. "You mean like Adam Hamren?"
