[Luca Sagebrook]

Luca sat on the bench in his cell with his head in his hands. How did things get so out of control so quickly? He couldn't believe how quickly his whole family set up and been ripped away from him.

[Harry Potter]

"Holding up pretty well, then?" Harry asked, just a hint of humor in his tone.

Garrin managed a small smile at Harry's attempt at making light of the situation, but he followed it up with a jab to Harry's ribs.

The guard let the two men into the cell, and Garrin took a seat next to Luca, clapping him softly on the shoulder.

Harry remained standing, holding with him various legal documents that Hermione had arranged pertaining to Luca's situation. He had promised her he'd read them, but he honestly didn't need to---he knew with everyone pulling for him, Luca would have no problem getting released.

"I know you'll ask, so I'll tell you, Julie and Caryn are fine," Garrin said kindly. "Bill is helping Caryn sort things out."

"And Hermione is busy preparing a case for you," Harry added. "Things are a bit rough but we're working night and day to get you out of this place," he promised.

[Luca Sagebrook]

"Yes well, I've had encouraging notes from your wife." Luca replied pointing to the neat cursive words on the wall written in red lipstick. "LUNA'S ROOM"

"You shouldn't be trying to help me! I killed a child! I deserve to be here!" He sighed, sitting back down, and pushing his face back to his palms.

[Harry Potter]

"Figured as much you'd say that," Harry said with a heavy sigh.

"We want you to get away with this with the least amount of punishment as possible," Garrin put in, but made a face as he realized his choice of words weren't the best.

"Well...I mean to say...."

"Your motivation was hardly selfish," Harry said, cutting across Garrin.

"And there are a lot of people fighting for you, whether you like it or not."

[Luca Sagebrook]

"Kieran Greyback is lying in the morgue. Has it not occurred to anyone that once his lovely parents catch wind of this, that a prosecutor will be the least of my worries. There will be no safe place to hide. My daughter has already suffered I can't keep this going. Best bet is to give myself up before everyone pays for this."

[Harry Potter]

"Oh come off it," Harry said, while Garrin gave a sad sigh.

"Yes, we've all realized what Celia and Greyback are likely to do, or try to do, but none of us are about to let you give yourself up. we're not cowards. Don't try to go and face this thing alone, because I think you'll find the lot of us standing right there, facing it with you."

He looked uneasy, then added, "I do know where you're coming from. You don't want any innocent lives to be taken. But I'm afraid there will be no stopping your supporters."

[Luca Sagebrook]

"I'm sorry. I'm new at this. I didn't intend for any of this to happen."

"Luca Sagebrook -- You've made bail." The guard told them at the cell.

Luca looked up confused. "But it was millions, I thought"

"You can thank me later." Lesley grinned.

[Harry Potter]

"Lesley Spencer?" Harry asked, looking to the young woman, then sending a glance to Luca and Garrin for confirmation. Garrin gave a small nod, wave, and smile to Lesley.

"Erm...right. There you are, Luca...loads of people behind you." He gave an awkward smile, then nodded to the guard as they made their way out.

"Caryn will be thrilled," Harry commented with a small smirk.

"In more ways than one," Garrin added quietly, shaking his head and smirking as well.

[Luca Sagebrook]

"Caryn will breathe fire." Luca added. "Is Julie still in the hospital?"

[Harry Potter]

"Yes, she is," Garrin responded. "And from the sounds of it...well, she's doing fine, regarding the wounds from the attack. Caryn doesn't seem to think she'll exhibit any signs of being a werewolf, but that could just be her biased talk. She's sort of a wreck when it comes to treating her own daughter, isn't she?" He made an uncomfortable, awkward face, suddenly remembering that Lesley was with them, Julie's biological mother.

"Caryn told me she hasn't been eating. Didn't want to worry you, but you would have found out anyway," Harry said, giving a sympathetic look to Luca.

[Luca Sagebrook]

"I'll fix that. If nothing else I'll borrow your soon and let her have a little picnic. And well, given the choice between Julie or air, Caryn would be blue in the face. She's a wonderful mother. I just don't make normal children. " He sighed.

"Listen Lesley, I really do appreciate this, I'm just having a really hard time understanding why."

"Julie needs her father, and I needed to be in your good graces for a while."

[Harry Potter]

"He's certainly in Garrin's good graces," Harry put in. "Couldn't shut up about it on the way here, could you?" he said to Garrin, smiling softly.

"I really am sort of...happy about it, what you did," Garrin said somewhat shyly to Luca. "He hurt my baby girl...I understand why you did it. I would have done the same, given the chance. I know you're not proud of what happened, but, I'm relieved. And I'm sort of...well...grateful. You can borrow Nolan for all eternity if you want," he said with a bit of a laugh.

[Luca Sagebrook]

"Julie had incapacitated him. I was going to shock him back into consciousness. He came to, looked up at me. I could hear my own baby crying down the hall. It's like I had no control over my own body. I was in so much pain for her. And then I put my hands on his chest, and shocked him anyway. I tried to bring him back when I realized what I had done -- but it was too late."

[Harry Potter]

"Sounds like self-defense to me," Harry said with a shrug and small smirk, but he knew it was in bad taste to say such a thing, when Luca felt so horrible about it.

Garrin shot Harry a dirty look, then sighed. "Manslaughter is likely what they'll go for...but either way, it really is the little monster's parents we'll have to worry about, like Luca said. Right now lets just get Luca to his family. Your little girl's been quite worried about you."

[Luca Sagebrook]

"I've been worried sick about her as well. I hadn't seen her sense...sense... well, you know. I can't bare to say it. He gave the kids quite the nightmare. I'll be lucky not to use my medical license over this. Though the hospital will go out of business, when everyone keeps coming to me anyway."
