Personality:
Rose has two sides to her. The first is shy, but only when she first meets people. It takes her some time to open up, not matter the number of people in the room. Her family knows this pattern and have been trying to help her to come out of her shell quicker, but to no avail so far. The opposite occurs when Rose has grown comfortable in her surroundings. She's like a little firecracker that you can't stop. This side takes a while to come out, but it is the side most see that have taken the time to break through the shyness shell.
Since arriving at Hogwarts, Rose has found a way to come out of her shell to the point where she is now able to carry on a conversation within seconds of meeting someone new. She is no longer the shy timid girl who first came to Hogwarts, but outgoing and extremely friendly.
Weaknesses:
Rose doesn't handle confrontation well, usually resorting to walking away rather then facing a difficult situation. She would be lost without her family if something ever happened to them. Rose fears getting hurt, both physically and emotionally.
Strengths:
She has a natural born ability to cook, having the talent to make almost anything after having only tasted it once. Rose is also an accomplished pianist, having mastered the piano at only five years of age.
Character History:
Rose was born to a loving family, both a mother and father who adored their little girl from the moment she came into this world. But the love didn't last long and Rose was taken from her family at the age of three. Due to problems in the home, social services said her parents weren't fit to raise a child until they cleaned up their act. At the orphanage is where Rose grew to love the piano, playing nearly every chance she got. She was eventually adopted by another loving couple who allowed her to keep her birth name, only changing her last to their own after adopting the little girl. The DeWitt's live in what to some might be considered a mansion, but to them it is just a home. Rose gained an older brother when she was adopted, the two becoming very close, much faster than some would've expected. All this happened before Rose turned 10 years of age.
At 10 Rose began to show signs of magical gifts, but with a family of Muggles raising the girl, they had no idea that any of these signs actually had to do with magic. They just saw her as even more special. The news of Rose being magical came with the arrival of her letter to attend Hogwarts. Which brings us to present day. Rose still lives with her loving muggle parents and brother, they did not toss her out when they discovered the girls even more amazing gift.

Invisibility -- Rose can control sometimes when she wants to disappear. But on rare occasions, she will slip into invisibility without warning and finds it hard to come back from that state. She is still learning to control her talent fully.
