Cade busily wiped the countertop, his hand moving in a circular motion, his head saying over and over, Wax on, wax off... He swirled it around the whole surface, even cleaning his partner's cashier station. Joe just shrugged, popping open a soda bottle and chugging it down, lazily putting it aside on Cade's just washed counter. Cade looked at him indifferently, since it was his own station anyway. He put away his rag and started checking around the room, making sure everything looked tidy. Some people lumbered about, picking out HoHo's and flipping through gossipy magazines, eventually putting them away. Cade had a thing about this, since it was technically stealing, but was too focused on getting the heck out of there. Three weeks had gone by since Cade had gotten his apartment there in London, getting a job here at the Quik-N-Easy and also at the Virgin Megastore, loving every second of his job there. But here at the Quik-N-Easy, he worked the night shift, running from 9:00pm-3:00am, which, he didn't get to his apartment until 3:30 if in his beaten-up jeep. The bus ticked off a couple of minutes. But so far his work hadn't paid off for him. And his trips to Hogwarts weren't cheap either. He finally decided to delay his visits for awhile, hoping Isabelle understood. For now, he needed to tend to the late-night drivers, briskly stopping in to grab a drink. Joe finally finished his soda, tossing it on the floor of his station. After Cade's short time in jail, he'd learned that hygiene was very, very, VERY important. He glared at Joe for awhile, which, at Joe's pace, took him at least ten mintues of glaring before he finally sighed, bent down to pick up the bottle, and threw it away under his desk in the waste basket with an indignant grunt. Cade let out a slow breath, watching him for a few milliseconds before someone tapped him on his arm. Cade turned to them, holding out his hand for money or an object of some sort. But as he looked at the person, his mouth drained of all words. He mumbled something, but it slowly came out as a gurgling noise, deep within his throat. Joe cackled at him, going around the desk and going over to fix the freezee machine, while Cade was left there gurgling in an embarrassing silence.
OOC: Open to hopefully a FEMALE! I'm am bit desperate...

Aaliyah frowned slightly as she looked at the guy in front of her. Her blonde hair was hastily tied up into a messy knot at the back of her head. She wore a small black tutu pulled over a pair of black leggings. Her bright pink top with the black elttering outlining the words 'bite me' spoke of the mood she had been in for the past few months.
She stared at him for a second and held out the pack of pain killers. She made sure that the scars that marked her arms were hidden when she held out her hand with the money in it. Her head was pounding and normally she'd have been quick to adress the fact he was staring but she just wasn't in the mood.
For some reason she recognised this guy too. She had been walking the streets of London quite a lot lately. Mainly because she hated staying in Hogwarts and she had no-where else to go so it was a possibility she'd passed him or encountered him somewhere else in the large city.

Cade scanned the pack carefully along the red beam on his desk, finally averting his eyes for a moment. Somehow he could sense that this girl had no intention of some odd man staring at her, especially in such a place. Cade handed back the package, the small sign on his cash register beeping suddenly, reading $5.68. He cleared his throat, looking up at her again and awaiting for the cool casing of money to invade his outright palm. Oh, yes, it'd be dollars then, Cade. Not galleons. A small smile crept up to his face, unshaven and ruddy, but lavishing all the same. Oddly, this girl brought back many memories of wizarding money.
"You're not from 'round here, eh?" Cade's low voice echoed about the small building, but no one bothered to look nor answer. But the girl, maybe. He smiled a bit wider, his cool, inviting blue eyes watching her intently.

OOC: Just so you know if he's in London it's pounds hehehe.
BIC: Aaliyah looked a bit weary of him as she scanned her mind trying to think if she knew him from home. Or maybe even from Hogwarts. She wracked her brain trying to think if she'd made out with him in the same manner she'd made out with Marius.
Her heart leapt slightly. Marius. A name she hadn't heard in a long time and a person she respected so much. He had gone along with the facade of him being gay so as to stop her thinking anything had hapenned between them.
Snapping from her own thoughts she muttered the word "No" in barely more than a whisper her tell tale accent shining through. It was true. She was far from either of her homes. One was destroyed, her Mother in prison now and the other seemed so different since Tanes death and Nicks second disappearance. She had tried to move on. She tried to cope but instead she blocked most of it out with regular doses of alcohol. That was one of the reasons she needed the pain killers. She'd had too much to drink yet again and was trying to blank out the pain.
For once she was glad she looked older. Not only because it meant she could buy over the counter drugs and bottles of alcohol without problem but also because no matter how hard she tried to stay loyal to Nick she couldn't help but feel slightly attracted to the man in front of her.
Holding out the money and placing a £10 in his hand she made sure to have as much contact between their skin as possible.

Cade took the money without an answer, but was turned slightly speechless. He returned her change, that silly smile still plastered to his face. Now only to work it. He eyed her with the same intensity, before asking,"Quiet tonight?" Her snide t-shirt didn't seem to affect him in the least. He leaned over on the counter, crossing his arms in a relaxed position. Joe was watching from afar, a retarded grin slowly passing his face, until Cade's unmistakable gesture. He quietly tranferred to the back room, apparently to smoke.
Cade's attention flitted back to her, looking her up and down respectfully. He had the feeling that she wasn't even close to driving age, nor smoking age, and that faintly bothered him. Now why would such a girl need a whole pack of 'killers? He decided to find out, his own way.

Aaliyah took the money and slipped it into the front pouch of the backpack she had over her shoulder and then took two of the pills and popped them right there. "Very quiet" she muttered as she slipped the pills into her bag, hiding the half bottle of vodka as she did so.
Seeing him leaning over the desk she smirked slightly. It seemed she hadn't lost her touch after all. She leaned forward slightly and took a deep breath. She tried to put Nick to the back of her mind and decided it seemed easier than she'd thought. He'd run off for the second time in their relationship and she had no idea where he was or when he was coming back.
She pouted slightly before looking at him "What time do you finish here?" she asked feeling a sudden rush of adrenaline. It had been a long time since she'd acted this way and she had missed it.
OOC: Sorry about the time for the reply...got sidetracked lol.

Cade chuckled,"3:00, but I think Joe can manage." He glanced sideways at the doorway leading to the backroom, probably locked tight. He shrugged, facing her, unreluctant.
"Did you have something in mind?" Cade asked directly, since there was no fault in showing a wee bit of interest. His infamous smile must've sparked the young mind, but hopefully she wasn't asking for trouble. Cade visualized a futuristic scene, greatly disturbing. He couldn't do anything with a 'little' girl. It wouldn't be right. But his growing curiosity took the reigns, and for the moment, he didn't give a second thought.

"Anything that puts you and me together" she smirked slightly as she spoke. Her eyes flitted to the back room door, wondering how long it would take for his work mate to come back and wondering if she would be able to convince this guy to go with her before the other one came back. "Although if your not off until three then I guess you'll not want to get into trouble" at this she stood up straight and turned around. She was tempted to stop but she began to walk off, hoping like every other guy she'd ever flirted with he'd stop her from going.

Cade argued fluently with himself before finally hopping over his desk nimbly and unbuttoning his work vest, throwing it beside the cash register with the speed of a cheetah after its prey. He was, indeed, after something. With his mind set, he quickly followed after her her, finally catching her outside, walking off somewhere.
"Alright, you've attracted my complete attention. How's about a ride?" Assuming she couldn't drive, he automatically offered, taking out his car keys from his pocket and pressing a single button, unlocking a blue jeep along the side of the building. He looked at her desiringly, almost drooling at the thought. 'Anything that puts you and me together'... He nearly dropped at the prospect.

Aaliyah shrugged her shoulders. "Only if you don't mind the fact I plan on getting pissed" she said as she patted the bag she was carrying. "Any idea of where you want to go?" she asked knowing that she didn't have anywhere specific to go.
She should have been at Hogwarts but since the trial she had been on the run. She didn't want to live with her Father. She didn't want to go into foster care either so this was it for her. She'd spend the odd week at school and then the rest of the time she spent in London.

Cade raised an eyebrow at this, but let it go reluctantly. He thought about the question, a few places coming to mind but none very appealing. Though he didn't really think she much cared.
"How about my place? Not too shabby for my taste, nonetheless yours, I hope," Cade suggested indifferently, indicating to hop in the car. He couldn't think of any other places worthwhile.

"As long as you've got a couch I can crash on that's fine" She did realise she was being rather forward but it wasn't as though this guy was shy. He'd just ditched his work in order to take a young girl to his home. She hoped he hadn't figured out her real age just yet. She wasn't going to tell him she was only 13 but she also wasn't going to tell him she was legal either. The last thing she wanted was for him to get in trouble for her lies. She may be a bitch at times but she didn't make a habit of getting those she didn't hate in trouble.

"Yeah, I got a couch. A bit musty, but you'll get used to it." Cade smirked, hopping into the jeep with a lurch. He started up the car, warming it up cozily. Apparently this girl had no place to go, which wasn't at all surprising to Cade, seeing as she had alchohol in her pack and an overdosage pain killers down her throat. He was starting to feel responsible now, since he started it, really. He gulped uncomfortably. Responsibility was never his best subject.
As the girl got in, Cade started to motor out, getting out onto the road and driving at a respectable speed. There was no rush, since his car was just as comfortable as his apartment, maybe even more. But as they drove along a good ways, Cade finally had to switch on music, even for a moment. It was set to rock, which he dialed to low volume.
"So what's your name, beautiful?" Cade asked kindly, glancing at her with his piercing blue eyes, which seemed to suck most answers out of anybody. But clearly this girl was a nobody, which didn't guarantee it would work.

"It's Aaliyah" she said as she turned to look at him and smirked slightly. "I can get yours once your eyes are back on the road though" She looked to where they were and realised something.
"Hey. any chance you could swing by the little off liscence on Queens street. I'm running low on vodka and it's one of the few places that'll serve me" she smiled sweetly at him and batted her eyelashes at him, sweeping a stray strand of hair out of her face."

"Right..." Cade replied, looking back onto the road wearily. He wasn't even sure what time it was. He sighed, looking along the road until a small building came up. He stopped alongside it, waiting for her to do her business, checking his watch and finally turning up the music, filling the car with head-busting stereo. He glanced occasionally outside, watching through the store's windows anxiously. Somehow he knew he shouldn't of let her go in, shouldn't of stopped, but it wasn't his life he needed to control. If she wanted to waste it, he wouldn't bat an eye.
