Admin Jobs and Moderater Jobs


Admin Duties
Admins will share the work, at times, but they are responsible for the following. The admins are listed below with topics/forums/area they specifically moderate or take care of, however any admin may do that task or other tasks not “assigned” to them when it is needed. If you have questions about a certain thing you may want to ask the admin in charge of it if there is one. To contact an admin, just click their name below.

Sara – Enforcing rules, using warning system, Skin, Sidebar/Announcements, Face Claims List
Leigh – Who Plays Whom List, Journal Claims, Half-Breeds List
Sarah – Canon's List & anything canon related, Special Abilities & Talents List, Questions/Comments/Concerns Topic
Narrator – Housing Signup, Awards, Being the HSWW Goddess


Other Admin Duties

• Sorting Newbies and New Accounts (which may include approving sample RPs )
• Creating Awards
• Enforcing all rules and using the warning system whenever needed
• Managing Profiles (which may include editing and moving improper profiles, as well as approving profiles)
• Moderating Canon Families/Updating List (accepting/denying applications)
• Keeping everything updated
• Creating & editing forums when necessary

Moderator Duties (see below)

General Moderators

• Keeping lists updated when the admins are unable to
• Managing profiles
• Greeting newbies, answering their questions, directing them to where they need to go

Headmistress/Headmaster Duties

• Organizing monthly Staff Meetings (in character)
• Expelling students when necessary –don’t let students get away with setting the forbidden forest on fire, etc…our RP should be as true to the HP world as possible…
• Firing and hiring professors when necessary (in role-play)
• Replying to the many many MANY students who will come knocking on your door…
• Approving Clubs and Special Events –Prefects will have the duty of leading clubs –they should send applications in to you. Head Boy/Head Girl will have the duty of organizing Special Events –they should have your approval (both in character and OOC).

Heads of Houses

• Moderating their House Forum
• Catching students (their characters) in trouble –we’ve got far too many students getting away with murder (sometimes literally)
• Counseling Students on their academic path
• Copying all points earned in classes, and recording it under the proper forum, so that the admin can take the total and add it to the box.

Professor Duties

• Moderating their classrooms
• Creating and replying to lessons
• Giving out points

Head Nurse (Hermione Granger)

• Reply to all threads posted in the Infirmary
• Oversee all assistant nurses
• Moderate the Infirmary Board

Head Boy/Head Girl Duties

• Overseeing prefects, holding Student Gov. Meetings
• Organizing dances and other special events
• Catching misbehaving students, reporting them to the Heads of Houses
• Moderate the Student Government Board

Prefect Duties

• Leading Clubs and Organizations (Professors and other students may also lead clubs, but to guarantee that clubs will stay fresh and active, this should be a prefect duty.)
• Moderating their Club’s Board
• Catching misbehaving students, reporting them to the Heads of Houses
• Participating in classes
