Carter kicked over trophy case the moment he entered the room. He couldn't be more pissed that Harper were pregnant. He wished it weren't Aidens.

[Harper Hallows]

Harper was wandering about that evening, tired, hungry, and bored. Only 3 months along, she was already getting the classic symptons of being pregnant. Just this morning she couldn't keep down her breakfast.

Wearing pink pajama pants and a black t-shirt, Harper wandered aimlessly into the Trophy Room. As she entered, she heard a crash an jumped back with a gasp. And then her face turned to shock, since Carter was one of the last people she had wanted to see. She had heard about Aiden and Carter breaking up. She knew it was because of her and she felt utterly terrible.

Harper walked in slowly, and sat down against the wall. "Carter, I am so sorry. I didn't mean for any of this to happen," she said softly to him, wanting to cry.

[Carter Nichols]

"Right. Because you're such a good girl! Tell it to someone you haven't tried to seduce if there is such a person!" Carter yelled, glaring at her and willing himself not to look at her stomach. Her baby. Aiden's baby.

[Harper Hallows]

"Carter, you know I was drunk. I was upset and I didn't mean to try that on you. At least you helped me by dumping my alcohol everywhere. I have made plenty of mistakes, but being with Aiden and Lou has taught me better. I am trying to clean up my act for the baby. For Aiden," she yelled back, upset by everything. "And if you were such a good person, you'd still be with Aiden. This all happened before you two got back together. He loves you and even when he is with you, he'll still be there for the baby. I know he probably doesn't want me back."

Harper stood up, using the wall for help, and walked over to Carter. "Carter, you need to be with Aiden. He isn't himself without you, Carter. We both know that," Harper added, holding back her anger and sadness as much as she could.

[Carter Nichols]

"Harper..." Carter gritted his teeth. "If you weren't pregnant right now...I'd floor you." He stared down at her angrily.

Come to think of it...her face isn't pregnant.. He thought.

"Nothing either of you say or do, changes the fact that you two have a bond, I bond I can never have with him. You finally outweighed me. And this time it wasn't with your big whorey ass. Congratulations. He's all yours..well...until that comes along." He glared hatefully, looking at her stomach.

"So go...Go play house. You're the mommy. Aiden is the Daddy. Louis is the boyfriend. I'm not going to be the daddy's gay lover sitting by himself in the waiting room when you decide to pop that thing out." He huffed.

[Harper Hallows]

"Dammit, Carter. I apologize to you and all you can give me is your damn pity party. If you honestly hated me, you would've already floored me, regardless of my state. And dammit, I am not a whore. I have had sex with two people in my whole damn life, whcih I know you probably have me beat. And be pissed off all you want because people are through with your effing pity parties," Harper yelled back, holding her stomach. She already nearly miscarried once; she didn;t need it again.

"Carter, I am trying to be a friend. I am trying to mend what hell I caused. I know I was a drunk, a flirt, and a jealous bitch, but I am changing that now. Why can;t you see that I am trying to make things right?" Harper added, turing away from him so he wouldn't see her cry.

[Carter Nichols]

"Because when I look at you, the only thing I see is a part of Aiden's life I'm never going to get back!" He hissed.

"And I may have been with more people than you, but I've never been stupid enough to let something like this happen."

[Harper Hallows]

Harper was enraged. With tears in her eyes, she retorted, "It wasn't just me, Carter. Aiden was involved, too. You may not be able to have children with Aiden, but you two will always have love, the true love, that I can never have with him. Carter, you still love him, don't you?"

Harper ran her fingers through her hair, tryin g to calm down. This stress was not good for her or her unborn child. Little did Carter or anyone else know, she wouldn't be around long enough to take care of her baby. No one but she knew that she also had cancer that could very likely rip her life away from her new life.

[Carter Nichols]

"Aiden told me all about it! He was just getting used to the werewolf hormones! You were just a cheap lay for him until he got his emotions sorted out!" Carter bblurted.

"More than you can ever imagine!" Carter shouted through gritted teeth.

[Harper Hallows]

"We were dating when it happened, Carter. And I wasn't a cheap lay for him. He knows I wouldn't have done any of that unless I knew he cared. And it if you love him, that dammit, be with him. There are some things you guys can't have, but you will always have love. It's more than I can say for myself," Harper screamed at him, pain slwoly returning to her. She sat down quickly as a cold sweat broke out on her. Breathing carefully, Harper said softly, "I want him to be happy when I die Carter. I want Aiden to take the baby and for you to adopt him as your own son. I don't have long to live because I have cancer."

[Carter Nichols]

"Harper. I can't, okay? I have people trying to kill me as it is. DO you really want your son to grow up with that? You want to put him in that kind of danger?" Carter asked.

[Harper Hallows]

"If my baby turns out anything like you guys, he'll be perfectly fine. And with you guys around, he'll learn to be tough and take care of himself. Aiden has already agreed. Please, Carter, I need you to forgive me and help my son," Harper replied, tearing up. "I need to know he'll be with someone who will love him and where he will be safe."
